thats a match and both belive in god and eavil sides

  2. XR 263 says:

Well, I have always supported the Empire in most matters.

  3. 3ntropy says:

    terrible. funny, but terrible

  4. Phee says:

That’s the Emperor, not Darth Sidious.

    • Kinglink says:

Actually it’s both… didn’t you watch the first three movies?

    • Kristie says:

Phee – let me tell you about a little search engine called Google. Even Wikipedia acknowledges they are the same…

      • Phee says:

Yes, I watched the movies… but That Picture is of the Emperor.

        • capt Obvious says:

Emperor Palpatine is to Darth Sidious as Anakin Skywalker is to Darth Vader. One and the same. The picture is of Emeror Palpatine and Darth Sidious. Are you starting to see a pattern here?

          • Kurt says:

That’s not 100% accurate. Palpatine/Sidious are truly one in the same, and the two names remain interchangable throughout his life. Anakin/Vader while they are technically the same person, there is a point where he stops being Anakin and becomes Vader (And goes back to Anakin-hood 30 seconds before dying)

But what Capt O says is basically the truth. However I think what they mean when they say it’s the emperor not sidious is that the pic was taken from the original movies when he was only known as the emperor.

            • Eddy says:

Well, I suppose with that logic, you could say that Emperor Palapatine wasn’t always the Emperor, before that he was a Senator and probably at one point a young child.

He also wasn’t always a Sith Lord, unless he was born one.

    • Mat says:

      Darth Sidious is the Emperor

    • me says:

same guy. i dont think they really say that in the movie though. i read the books, and they called him darth sidious for the most part

  5. The Incredible Bulk says:

they both preside over a religion…

  6. LouZha says:

So which one’s the worse bad guy….hmmmm?

    • podgirl says:

you should probably watch what you say. Just because you *probably* aren’t Catholic, doesn’t make the Pope a “bad guy.”

      • Pheeps says:

We can say whatever we want to say.

      • No god, know peace says:

The pope, in most incarnations, is, in fact, a bad guy. Especially when he tells his cardinals and priests to say nothing about molestations until the statute of limitations is over.

        What an a**hole.

      • Cey says:

Except for the reestablished declaration of the primacy of the roman catholic brand of insanity, essentially stating that all non catholics would a. Burn in hell for all eternity, or b. Be stuck in purgatory for all eternity.
Ya know, I’d say that the mark of an arrogant, pompous, and evil man.
        HOWEVER
He did declare “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached” And while this statement is true, and spreading faith by the sword is a very bad thing, the hypocritical nature of criticizing how one religion spreads its faith versus the good old standard burning that catholic inquisitors used to weed out the unfaithful is astounding.
Long story short, all religion is, basically, ridiculous, stating belief, SPECIFIC belief, in the unknowable, and evil for the violence used in the name of faith. Don’t even get me started on the Popes and the Nazis and similar regimes.
Religion does not deserve any respect. It is just another form of dangerous delusion, and people should be able to speak out against it without being labeled as bigots.

        • ME says:

“Don’t even get me started on the Popes and the Nazis and similar regimes.” You mean like the fact that the Pope actively opposed the Nazis, or the lie that says the opposite.
Since you’re spreading bigoted lies, what have you to complain of?

        • inquisitor says:

It is pretty tough to not recognize the primacy of Peter in the New Testament. Since Peter instituted the line of the Popes in Rome (not to be confused with the Pope in Alexandria), I don’t know where people say that the Church has no need for Popes. The Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church have been working hard to bring about communion in the Church (although there is only one Church). As Jesus had one body, so His Mystical Body is also whole. Primacy of the Pope is a stumbling block for communion in the Church, but the Holy Spirit will heal this division.

As for bashing the Church as a negative influence, I recommend you look at the work of Tom Woods in this regards, especially his work in, “How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization,” and, “The Church and the Market: A Catholic Defense of the Free Economy.”

          • Norwegian Guy says:

And I’m certain equally many works of equally respectable scholars could be taken to task for the opposite view. Certainly, his argument that the Catholic worldview did not hamper scientific progress because Jehovah’s laws were discoverable by humans, ignores both the fact that the very same was true in ancient Greece, where scholars e.g. not only managed to calculate quite accurately the distance between the Earth and the Sun and the Earth and the Moon, but also realized that the Earth was, in fact, round, and orbited the Sun, not the other way around. Catholic dogma has, of course, been very helpful for discovering the basic facts of nature when, and only when, those basic facts of nature were not counterindicated in the Bible. But when they were – such as the aforementioned facts of kindergarten-level astronomy – the Catholic church in fact were a great impediment to scientific progress. Of course modern culture and society builds heavily upon catholicism. Just like modern Japanese culture still builds heavily on Buddhism, Shinto and Taoism. It was unavoidable; Christianity has been the dominant religion in the occident since the decline of the Roman Empire. However, most of the things considered good and desirable in modern society – democracy, equality, free economy, science, freethought and ingenuity in engineering – in fact were not invented by Christians, or even preserved by them. They came from Rome, Athens and Babylonia. While those writings deemed dogmatically pure were indeed preserved by the Catholic church, most of the writings we today possess from antiquity were either discovered by accident after the Dark Ages, or preserved by the Middle Eastern imperia before those venerable realms collapsed into barbarism.

      • mesme says:

well, just because you are a catholic doesn’t mean that he’s a good guy either… after all, the catholic church is a big business and owns a lot of land and real estate in many countries, and big car (and gun making) companies such as FIAT.
this coming from one that grew in the catholic tradition and who comes from a long line of catholics and respects all sorts of faiths, but that has the clarity of mind to see someone who is not a follower of what he claims to be. otherwise, he would actually do something for all the cases of child molestation. right?
anyways, i think at least the emperor was more open about his evil ways… the pope benedict is just creepy.

        • ME says:

Since you haven’t been paying attention, you probably wouldn’t know that he has done a great deal to help those so abused and to see to it that it is as unlikely to happen as is humanly possible.

      • Zoreta says:

You kidding? I was Catholic, but quit the church (at age 8) because I saw the light. It’s basically a club for people who want to put their hands on their ears and go ‘WAH!!! THE BIG MEAN DARWINISTS ARE BIG AND MEAN! FORGIVE EVERYONE- SO LONG AS THEY’RE A WHITE MIDDLE CLASS HETEROSEXUAL MAN! ALL OTHERS WILL GO TO HELL!!! …Unless they’re a baby factory.’

Seriously. Knowingly and by choice following a guy condoning the molestation of young boys= HOLY CRAP SIN ALERT

…But I’m Unitarian Agnostic now, so sin’s a bit of a superfluous term when I use it (I don’t believe in sin. I believe in doing what I personally believe to be correct)

      • dude love says:

We’ll say what we want. Catholics have dictated this world for over 1700 years with their dogmatic bullshit. And only now is the world FINALLY trying ( although slowly due to the dogmatic brainwashing and fears of ‘hell’ and ‘god can read your mind and soul and he hates magic, non-humans and non-followers of HIS view’) to evolve and move onwards.

Darth Benedict : “Every single Prodestant, jew, muslim, bhudist, pagan, wiccan, celt, nord, shindu, Taioist, Inca, Aztec and so on including your friend Obi-wan Kenobi is now a enemy of the Vatican! DO what must be done my christ-soldiers, do not hesitate! show no mercy! We must act fast, First I want you to move into Jeluserum. WIPE out the muslims and the Jews!”

  7. Chris says:

I did the very same thing in my blog last year but used two different pictures than you and they still looked alike, even at different angles.

I bet you could do a much better job of Ms. Piggy/Beth Chapman than I did:

  8. wolfie says:

o.o Wow!!….the resemblance is almost exact! stunt double?? evil twin??

  9. Amanda says:

Awww…that’s horrible!! And I’m not even Catholic!!

There there, Pope, they didn’t mean it… *hugs*

  10. James says:

I was wondering how long it would take for this one to come on.

  11. Tinker says:

    Ooh, blasphemy! YOu’re gonna burn!

  12. pegataur says:

But wait! If Benedict looks like Sidious, and Lieberman looks like Palpatine, why don’t Benedict and Lieberman look alike? ;)

    • Sponge says:

Very good point. maybe Benedict looks like an older Sidious because he is old

But they could (and might be) brothers…. cue twilight zone music :-P

Both evil cnuts anyways… I’m not religious at all, but surely somebody saying they’re the representative of god on earth is major blasphemy? so the idea of a pope is a complete contradiction in terms…

    • Deodand says:

      You never see them together….

    • No god, know peace says:

      Different mothers.

  13. Omega says:

    UNLIMITED POWER!

  14. Adi says:

looks like the pope is wearing a santa hat

  15. niko says:

Wat’s the difference? Their both manipulative bastards.

    • No god, know peace says:

      YAY!

    • GahWhatever says:

Palpatine never claimed to be God’s substitute on Earth, capable of absolving sins. Go figure that the one who seems less evil would be doing crazier things 9_9.

      • inquisitor says:

The Pope represents Simon-Peter. All of the disciples were exhorted by Jesus to absolve sins. It pretty much comes with the job description and is a requisite for the job.

  16. salimo says:

who’s up for Star Wars VII- Religion at Force starring Pope Benedict.

  17. Rob Yaz says:

Thats kinda bad comparing a religous figure of god to a evil vilan on star wars. but lmao. they look the same.

  18. Chris says:

Emperor Palpatine. He gave up the name Sidious after assuming the title of Emperor.

  19. Carroll says:

The Pope’s been fairly “sidious” lately. Give me a break: Communion only given by Benedict if the person is kneeling and — no hands please — on the tongue. His true colors are emerging. BTW, other than clergy ‘under the gun’, does anyone listen to, or care what the Pope says?

    • Nick Gill says:

Yes, in fact. He is a brilliant writer and thinker, quite a bit more bright, in fact, than most of the so-called “Brights” I’ve read. He actually offers evidence for his assertions, and documents his sources.

      • Fan says:

Yaay, another Pope supporter. What’s the big deal about kneeling and receiving Communion on the tongue? He believes it’s the most respectful way to receive Jesus Christ. Anyone who has an issue with it can receive elsewhere. And yes, I care what the Pope has to say. Like Nick says, he’s a very intelligent man. Oh, and the 600,000 people at World Youth Day obviously care what he has to say, not to mention the millions who watched and listened from home.

        • Kari says:

“What’s the big deal about kneeling and receiving Communion on the tongue? He believes it’s the most respectful way to receive Jesus Christ.”

You know, my husband told me the most respectful way to receive him was on the tongue…. but hopefully, those are two very different meanings.

Oh, and I always thought he looked seriously evil, now I know why!

      • david says:

well, documenting sources is easy for a pope. it’s pretty much just:

God. The Bible. Jerusalem: Ye Olde Divine Word of God Printing Co., 0..

        for everything

        • No god, know peace says:

Yes, and since it was only Man’s hand that put all books of the Bible into print, it is fallible and prone to subjective and greedy motives.

The Bible has done its job quite well, though: it’s kept the masses under control, for the most part, except for those who have killed in its god’s name.

      • No god, know peace says:

        Evidence of what?! God? Where?

        • david says:

an atheist droning on about their beliefs is just as annoying as a religious person droning on about their beliefs.

PROTIP: nobody cares what you believe, so stfu. i think that pretty much applies to everyone.

          • No god, know peace says:

I just asked about evidence. So sue me.

            • david says:

              i know i shouldn’t be doing this…

you weren’t sincerely asking about evidence for the existence of god. you were just trying to start an argument. and i can’t resist.

              • No god, know peace says:

I wasn’t trying to start an argument. Anyone may answer or not. You chose to answer. That was your prerogative.

          • No god, know peace says:

One’s belief in god is either learned or was forced upon; not believing in god is a natural state of being.

            Argue that.

            • david says:

Freud posited that the belief in god comes from our view of our parents when we’re infants. belief in deities spans all of human recorded history, suggesting it is quite natural. weather it’s natural to believe in god or not doesn’t mean anything and doesn’t provide any value for a particular set of beliefs. everything humans do is natural. we are part of nature. our ideas our also a part of nature.

              • Bob says:

Freud is also now outdated and proven wrong in most of his positions.

              • natty says:

For all of human history we didn’t understand the world or space or physics or how the natural world worked. Religion was natural then because it answered all of our questions and mysteries. You don’t still believe Apollo pulls the sun across the sky do you? I place my faith in that someday in the future we will have the answers to the questions that plague us now. Instead of placing my faith and obedience in a religious figure like the Pope that openly denounces the use of condoms in AIDS ravaged countries in Africa.

          • Katherine says:

Ah, so an argumentative person automatically equals an atheist? Huh.

        • monk-e says:

the evidence of god is in the believers.

tangible evidence however, you’re right, there is none.

        • ME says:

Riddle me this: Is the universe rational? (Is it capable of being understood?)
          Here are the contending theories:
There is no ‘godless’ (“scientific”, according to some) reason why the universe would be rational (capable of being understood. So the probability of a rational universe would be quite small ( << 1 in physics-talk).
The Christian expectation is that a reasoning and loving God would create a rational universe ( ≈ 1 in physics-talk). That is why science has flourished under Christian influence in ways it didn’t before.
The Experimental result: The universe is rational, but it isn’t always evidently orderly. (Though some of my students might not agree; that’s usually why they have to retake the course.)
Is it proof? No. (Life isn’t a math course.) But it does put the probability strongly in the camp of the existence of God.

          • Norwegian Guy says:

The probability of a rational universe would be quite small, you say, thereby assuming that 1) such circumstances weren’t inevitable from the side of nature; 2) circumstances wouldn’t be fluent, and thus change until such a chain of events were started; 3) only one such circumstance could occur at once; 4) there is only one universe capable of attaining such properties as necessary to generate a universe similar to the one we know.
In short, you are assuming that, instead of living in one of the relatively few universes and space-time coordinates thereof capable of supporting sapient life of our form and mindset, we are living in the only possible such frame of reference. In terms closer to what may be familiar, you are assuming that we, living on Terra, are in fact living in the only place that exists, instead of the only place we know of thus far capable of supporting advanced life. This is a major distinction, and tips the scale rather heavily towards the scientific end.
On the other hand, you also assume that the god-hypothesis is an actual answer to any of our questions. You will probably argue that god is eternal, has no beginning and end, and thus didn’t have to be made, I’ll argue that in that case, why can’t the universe be eternal and not have to be made, you argue that isn’t the same, and thus we’ll have fallen into the skyhook loop.
You also state that science has flourished under Christian influence like never before. I suggest you read up on ancient science; it’s more impressive than we generally give them credit for. I’d suggest reading up on the ancient Greek science and Heron of Alexandria, in particular – catapults, diving bells, vending machines, automata and clockwork being only a few of the remarkably non-Chrsitan-influenced inventions discovered to date. The main thing keeping that from flourishing the same way modern science has was how disorganized it was. Also, I’d contend that it was only after the yoke of Christianity was thrown off that modern science started to advance. You assume that current science is under Christian influence, but I’d suggest that the proper term is “post-Christian influence”.

      • GahWhatever says:

Too bad we have to kill Christ again every time we take communion (tansubstantiation; the bread literally becomes the Body with the accident of still tasting like bread). Otherwise it wouldn’t seem quite so Satanic to recieve the broken body of God whilst kneeling to a man who claims to -be- God.

        • inquisitor says:

I am pretty sure that the Pope acts as Simon-Peter, not as God. Also considering that the sacrament was instituted by God, and the followers were instructed to do this in remembrance of Jesus, whats the big deal? If the Big Man tells you to do something, you know the Guy that you believe you owe creation to and your salvation to, don’t you think you might carry out the small favor He asks of you?

    • inquisitor says:

The Pope is a big fan of the old Tridentine Mass, you know the Latin Mass. As such, he believes in bringing reverence back into the Novus Ordo Mass as it is commonly used. He hasn’t passed down a ruling saying that all communicants must receive on their tongue in all Roman Rite Catholic Churches, but it is his prerogative to transfer the sacrament in this manner as he sees fit. What’s the big deal with fostering a more humble and reverent atmosphere?

  20. shh says:

  23. DJ says:

Geez. That’s not funny at all. maybe i’m being over-sensitive, but I find it rather insulting.

    • Bob says:

Because you are oversensitive and can’t take criticism about the ludicrous sky fairy you believe in? Life doesn’t give you a free pass from ever being insulted. Get over it.

      • Jarred says:

Notice to DJ. This is the internet, where everything is hilarious, offensive, or both, to most people. If you don’t like this, Leave. If you don’t mind, shut up. Posting a nagative comment on anything that not EVERYONE hates is genneraly a bad idea. Don’t do it.

  24. Victor says:

They are totally look-a-like. But all this commentaries of angry atheist preachers, believers-in-Dawkins, deserve a place in the “Dark Side”, definately. I’m sure that in the future they will fight for a totalitarian regim, like robots. Some decades after strong atheist preachings, in the last century, the World saw the results: more deaths than all history of stupid religious wars, between Catholics, Protestants and Muslims. Nazi-fascism, Comunism and capitalists-worshipers-of-money killed 200 million of people in less than 50 years.

    • Exerci says:

Obviously we will. Because it’s so ridiculously stupid to believe our eyes, our senses, and infer that as in every other matter in this world, if there to any measuring apperatus we can find appears nothing, then there’s probably not anything there.

Read up on Russell’s teapot, and think of the ludicrousness of atheists having to disprove the existence of something that cannot be seen, felt and does not interact with the world.

If I start claiming that sunflowers can understand human language but don’t want to act on what I say, and then when people critizise me, I reply with: “Prove to me that they can’t”, people would see me as a lunatic.

The burden of proof is always on the one making the claims, apparently, except for religion.

      • mesme says:

i agree and also have a question: if one was born and made in the image of god… why does one have to be mutilated at birth with, say, circumcisions, shaving every single hair in your body, dying your hair and/or castration? why do we, the normal people, have to work while he, te representative or God Himself, does nothing but… look at little kid’s sweet faces while counting his money and estate?

      • inquisitor says:

When have the atheists explained the Unexplainable? When have they proved that the First Mover never moved? How can creation exist without a Creator? Are we just imaginations of our own minds? If so, why won’t you go away?

        • Norwegian Guy says:

When have the christians explained the Unexplainable? When have they proved that the First Mover ever moved? How can a creator exist without being created? Are we just imaginations of our own minds? If so, why won’t you go away?

    • Katherine says:

OMG. Are you saying that as an atheist, I must be a Commie-pinko, neo-fascist unethical capitalist pig? WOW. I had no idea! Hold on a minute while I go chuck my conservative beliefs in the toilet.

      Moron.

      • ME says:

You have to admit that the record of atheistic regimes, starting at least as far back the anti-Christian French Revolution’s “Reign of Terror” (their own words; ‘Terror’ was quite literally the order of the day) hasn’t been commendable.

    • Sekhmet says:

Neither religion or atheism killed more people at either time. It was human nature that seems to have continually gotten worse and worse over time. We as a species became more and more violent not because of a loss of religion but because of a loss of appreciation for our fellow human beings. Atheism does NOT mean you are a violent, money-loving, conformist, Nazi freak as most heavily religious people seem to believe. Atheist can still possess a love for our human fellows and do not always turn out to be preachy sour heartless men(or women) who have nothing better to do than wipe the earth of human kind. Nor are all religious people preachy sour heartless men(or women) who have nothing better to do than wipe the earth of all human kind that does not believe in their religion. It is unfair and frankly WRONG to say that atheist are bad people or vice versa. Having a religion does not always make you a better person or smarter just as not having a religion does not make you better or smarter. I am not atheist or Christian but I take severe offense when people make generalizations about either group(or for that matter generalizations about anyone based on race, sex, religious beliefs, sexual preference, or political views) because anything people assume one group as large as any of those categories to be the exact same from end to end you end up showing the worst possible side of humanity which is man’s contempt for his fellow man. This hatred towards ones own species is the underlying cause to all war and all murder. Once we all get over that hatred, then we would all live happier(no not perfect, nothing in this life can be perfect) and we would have people killing one another or calling each other names on post just because one persons view are at the opposite end of the spectrum…

Oh, and yes my name is taken from the Egyptian lion goddess of warrior, bask in the irony of an attempted peace-maker using this name…

      • Jarred says:

Indeed. I believe a have a solution to said problem. I believe that any or all dieties/worshopial figures/spirits/cosmic forces may or may not exist, and I do not insult people unless they insult others, others beliefs/oppinions, myself or my beliefs/oppinions (Ex. my belief that aliens probably exist). Unless of course they make a general arse of themselves. All this from the mind of a 12 year old. Did I just almost solve the problem of war over time?

      • ****** says:

the only difference is that a athiest kills because of their own choosing. Therfore it’s the individual and only the individual who’s to blame.

a religious type kills because “god told them to” Therfore, it’s both the individual AND religion who’s to blame because the religion, or someone who’s preaching it in writing, pictures and so on, told them to kill anyone different.

I dont like religion because I’ve been tormented and psycologically tortured by it’s followers. I had 2 stress breakdowns, I had nightmares, hestiations to do normal things, mental anguish, fear and pain assulting me when I try and think ‘outside the box’ and so on. If this ‘dictator god’ doesnt like me because I love and adore dragons, then go ahead and KILL me…go on, murder me ‘god’ kill me right now and hurt my soul….I dare you you cruel ‘man’

You see what religion’s done to me? it’s poisoned my mind.

I want peace and happiness for the whole cosmos, but religion has GOT TO GO! for the sake of sanity. As long as we have religion, we’ll always have wars and misery.

  27. nick_nack says:

I’ve always thought that the pope looks like Darth Sidious.

I remember the controversy when Episode 3 came out that Lucas made an allusion to President Bush, with Anakin borrowing some dialogue from Bush’s flawed philosophy, as noted here: http://archive.japantoday.com/jp/comment/774

Therefore, I saw a logical tie and made this image: http://mine.icanhascheezburger.com/view.aspx?ciid=1610607

  28. Dova says:

…*kersnort* oh that’s fantastic. They also look slightly like my grandfather–minus the beard. Even if I’m not catholic, and this isn’t a personal joke…I’m quite heavily christian and still laugh at ceiling cat.

SOmetimes, you guys just have to laugh. Otherwise, we cry, we bitch, we moan…and get nothing done. Laughter is freaking awesome.

    Better then popeyes chicken.

    Maybe.

    …..

    Not really. X3

  29. Cado Angelus says:

D’ya know what i find hilarious, Pope Benedict was part of the Hitler youth…lol

oh yeah, Nerd Fail! but technically, thats Emperor Palpatine. Darth Sidious was the “first” three in the saga. When Order66 was initiated, he didn’t hide that he was a sith…sry, just clearing it up =S

  30. SassySoprano says:

This really makes me want to cry…how blasphemous. The Pope is the head of the Catholic church, and is most certainly not a “bad guy.” He is holy, and should be respected.

  31. People have been making this comparison since the first day Benedict was elected.

  32. Sassy — Get over yourself. You know what site you’re on, right? Come on.

  33. Tex says:

I just call him Pope Palpatine.

  34. anne says:

Yes!!! I always thought this resemblance was significant!

  35. winterox says:

The pope is a former Hitler Youth member…

…and to think that the previous pope survived WWII in the country first invaded by ze Germans.

    • ME says:

True. By law at the time, everybody of the right age was. But he didn’t participate, even for show. Even though not doing so put him in danger.

  36. Papist says:

Technically that’s not a picture of Pope Benedict XVI, it’s Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger. Hence the black cassock and red zucchetto. As Pope he would wear a white Cassock and zucchetto.

His family was in Bavaria and was actually a member of the opposing political party of the Nazis, they were more Austrian than German.

The Pope is not God on Earth, he is God’s Vicar or Minister. The mass is not a recrucifixition, a common misnomer.

And what is more ridiculous? There is a transcendent being not bound by the laws of conservation of energy and matter that created everything from nothing; or that in the beginning there was nothing, which exploded and became everything.

    • icefaerie95 says:

      thx

    • Cuddlee says:

“And what is more ridiculous? There is a transcendent being not bound by the laws of conservation of energy and matter that created everything from nothing; or that in the beginning there was nothing, which exploded and became everything.”

Funny thing is, *both* are the beliefs of religious people. Scientists instead know that non-existance itself can’t exist, for that’s simply illogical. It’s that easy.

  37. Crywolf says:

Pope Benedict XVI finds your lack of faith…disturbing.

  38. heck yeah says:

Yes. I agree that they look alike.

  39. Cat says:

i knew it….wait…so that means that mimas is a death star!!!! oooooh i know his secret ….. bahahahaha….

  40. KrissyLove says:

LMFAO!!!! The pope is the creepiest looking dude ever, I’ve been trying to place who he looks like…

  41. bluegizka says:

…y’know, none of this answered my critical question:

when is the catholic church gonna start building death stars, and WHERE CAN I SIGN UP?

  42. Olivia B. says:

I don’t think so – total night and day. Besides, Sidious doesn’t have any lips! And, Bluegizka, if it took hundreds of years to build cathedrals, it’s probably going to take centuries for them to build a full-blown Death Star.

  43. Valvox says:

    Question:
What’s the difference between The Pope & Darth Sidious?
    Answer:
    Nothing. They’re brothers!
    -made that up, pretty crap-
    lol.

  44. El Moppo says:

    Truth! :D :]

  45. Mwahohoho says:

    Really good one

  46. suslik says:

    Hahaah :D

  47. Zuby says:

They’ve never actually been photographed together, have they?

  48. wedontspakle says:

It’s probably not a good idea to compare the head of the Catholic religion to the dark emporer of the Sith, but they do look very similar. -.-

  49. Kimmy says:

I’ve thought that since the moment he became pope!!!

  50. icefaerie95 says:

    this is weird…

  51. BOUNTYHUNTER says:

    I hate Darth Sidious!!

  52. Jenna says:

    I lol’d.

  53. kala297 says:

wow they really do look similar
