This is bullshit — Lahr had no rights to the movie - if you were sued it was by Time Warner AOL - The parent company that owns all MGM movie rights.
Neither Garland or Lahr or Haley had any rights the contracts were work for hire -

Just so you know - you were not sued by Bert Lahr who has been dead since the 1960’s - If you were sued you were sued by AOLTimewarner - who own the rights to all the MGM movies.
Judy Garland got paid $500 a week - the rest of the artists including Lahr had Work for Hire contracts and had no ongoing rights - get your facts straight before you demonize a lion, a scarecrow and a Tinman!
