    FIRST!!!!
*ahem* Doesn’t he play Commander Adama in the new Battlestar Galactica series? If so, he got FAT!

    • Peemo says:

Thats would be Edward James Olmos who plays Adama.
      They look nothing alike.
You think people could tell who looks like who on THIS site XD.

  2. D'oh says:

    Edit:
    O…he’s a murderer, then I guess he didn’t :P Hmmm, then I just came up with another look-a-like :D

  3. smashpro1 says:

Technically, he isn’t a murderer. He is just a person of interest since his 4th wife went missing…and his 3rd wife’s death had been ruled a drowning but a recent autopsy ruled it as murder…

    • Anonymous says:

indeed. Not a Murderer. A Suspect.

I recommend that TLL change it from murderer to suspected murderer/accused murderer

      • jamisings says:

Yeah but we know he did it the same way we know Caylee’s mom obviously killed Caylee. (Or sold her to a childless couple or into the child sex-slave trade. But most likely killed her.) A woman does not “drown” in a DRY bathtub and his forth wife is probably buried somewhere or dumped in a lake. Or maybe he was like that pedophile that raped and killed a young boy, then chopped him up and tried to bury him in cement. (The body was still bleeding however and the blood gave him away.)

I mean, some things you don’t need “solid evidence” to know for sure. You just need common sense. Drew killed his wives. He ought to just admit it already cause he will be found out.

        • Anonymous says:

I watch the news (Even though Nancy Grace is horrible).
          I know he did it.

          • jamisings says:

Yeah, like I said, some cases only need common sense to be solved. He did it. He might as well own up.

            • Libel law says:

Some cases might only need common sense to be solved, but a commercial Web site is not allowed to print something about someone that isn’t true. I work for a newspaper in Illinois, and this would get my ass fired and have my editors and the lawyers in fits.

Until a jury convicts Drew Peterson of murder, he is *NOT* a murderer in print, regardless of what you and I think or believe or know.

Until the police charge Drew Peterson with murder, or declare him a suspect, he is also *NOT* a murder suspect, or a suspect in his wife’s disappearnce. The best, truthful information that can be printed about him is that he is a man whose ex-wife is misisng.

              • Libel law says:

And, yes, “disappearance” and “missing” are misspelled. My screen cuts off some of the words in the comment field.

              • jamisings says:

Doesn’t matter. Just like we Caylee and her mother, we all know he’s a murderer. It’s just a matter of time.

                • Jami says:

I meant “just like we KNOW Caylee was killed by her mother” – I’m not a reporter so I’m allowed to say what I feel. Suing me would do no good. They would just end up being found out all the faster.

              • Stac says:

You work for a newspaper in Illinois? Um sure DREW PETERSON IS A NAMED SUSPECT IN THE DISAPEARANCE AND POSSIBLE DEMISE OF STACY, AND A NAMED SUSPECT IN THE DEATH OF KATHLEEN SAVIO So yes he is declared a suspect.

The only good thing that has ever come out of Joe Hosey’s (reporter for Joliet Herald News) mouth is that is that he is going to make this news till she is found.

    • thallia says:

“Innocent until proven guilty”…. until faced with “oh yeah this isn’t the first time he was questioned about suspicious wife deaths”….. Hmmmmmm

  4. jamisings says:

But the Cowardly Lion wouldn’t kill his wives.

    • Karen says:

Very true. And I’ve always heard that Bert Lahr was a sweetheart (I hope that’s true … I always liked him). Rrrrrrrrouffff! :-)

  5. deedubya says:

Wasn’t he arrested *again* for having an illegal fire-arm or something?

  6. Jujube says:

Maybe the caption should read “Sweet Lion” & “Cowardly Drew Peterson”. Anything I’ve heard coming out of his mouth (watching on the news) while being interviewed seems like a coward to me. Laughing now but maybe not for long.

  7. Bob says:

A few days ago there was one that showed James Hetfield looks like the cowardly lion and now Drew Peterson….does that mean that Peterson looks like Hetfield?

  8. Libel law says:

Yeah, definitely not a murderer until a jury convicts him of it. And for that to happen, he’d have to be charged with murder, which he isn’t. In fact, the police have yet to name him as a suspect.

Remember Richard Jewell, TLL? That guy the police never named as a suspect in the Centennial Olympic Park bombings in Atlanta but classified a “person of interest” so the media came down hard on him? He definitely won a lot of money when it turned out he was the guy who was trying to stop the bomber.

    • coyote says:

Considering the original “accidental drowning” verdict the police department or coroner, which ever, should be charged with accessory after the fact.

    • I'm nobody, who are you? says:

I grew up in Bolingbrook, IL. I know many cops on the police force (graduated with a few, too). We all believe he’s guilty. For a cop to throw another cop under the bus–even unofficially–is not done unless the person is guilty.

That being said, everyone believed Patsy Ramsey was guilty of murdering Jon Benet and she was cleared either right before she died or posthumously, I don’t remember which.

I’m on the fence. The media tells us the “facts” but may or may not leave out important information. It looks like the man is guilty, no questions asked. At least, to me it does. I think he’s a slimeball, but unfortunately, it’s not illegal to be a slimeball.

      • I'm nobody, who are you? says:

I sounded wishy-washy up there. I do believe he’s guilty. I don’t know why I said I’m on the fence.

      • jamisings says:

I still believe Patsy did it. They probably just “cleared” her to make it look like they were still working on a case they majorly screwed up.

    • Jane St.Clair says:

Yeah well Richard Jewell didn’t have a history of “mysterious” bombs going off in and around his location prior to the Atlanta bombing. I’m not saying we should just throw him in jail now, but his past speaks against him.

    • Libel law says:

Drew Peterson’s past does speak against him. And he, and Richard Jewell, and Patsy Ramsey, and even John Mark Karr, who was flown back from Thailand to be investigated in connection with JonBenet’s death, were cleared of connection to the crimes they were associated with.

As a member of the media, I can tell you it is not that most outlets are withholding information; it is that we are limited as to what we can print or broadcast based on what are known facts. Anyone whose name is besmirched by being called a “murderer” or even a “murder suspect” in print or on the air when they have not been identified as such by the police or a jury has a right to sue for libel or slander.

People are welcome to form their own opinions as to a person’s guilt regarding a crime. But that it not the media’s job; I’m here to tell you what happened, and who the police say was involved, nothing more. And if the police refuse to name Drew Peterson as a suspect in his wife’s death, which they have, it’s probably because they don’t have enough evidence to charge him with that crime. That may happen, but as it stands, he is not a murderer or a murder suspect. For now, the best way to describe him without encouraging a lawsuit is to say he is a suspect in his ex-wife’s disappearance.

Now, as to comparing him to the Cowardly Lion, well, that’s pretty clever — and legal.

    • Stac says:

Once again Mr Reporter HE IS A NAMED SUSPECT

  9. Matthew says:

Okay, let’s all sing “If I only had an alibi”

    Nice match. Good job!

  12. Ozfem says:

A Chicago radio station was entertaining the idea of a “Win A Date With Drew Peterson” competition/game on a morning show – allegedly pitched to the station by Peterson’s lawyers.
How sensitive to the feelings of the families of the victims – not.
At least the idea was nixed by the station executives.
If he is innocent of the murders – and let’s face it, that’s a big IF – you’d think he would be focused more on proving his innocence than getting his sleazy/rubby lawyers to run around drumming up publicity for him.

Peterson has reportedly told Chicago’s WJMK-FM in a surprise phone call that “the ladies are coming back around.”

He’s old, fat and butt ugly. Are women really that desperate?

Personally, I hope they nail him for it and he spends the rest of his cowardly life in prison.

I think it’s an insult to Bert Lahr to be compared to him.

  13. Ozfem says:

    grubby lawyers, I meant.

  14. Margaret says:

Oh BURN! Maybe we’ll catch him in the act the next time he kills his wife. 3rd time is the charm.

  15. izzy says:
