HI there I don’t know why you put 2 pics together. It might be fun for you guys but not who we pray to Dalai Lama. It is insulting us. I guess you thinking that Buddhist people are so compassionate so you can do any kind fun of our lama or Buddha. I think you taking advantage of it. The goat has every right to identify as a llama if it feels inside that it IS a llama. It may have lived as a llama for many years and feel offended that it cannot be accepted as such. And anyway, they both taste like chicken.

it actually is a toggenburg in response to the person who stated it was a la mancha, this is a cropped image and the full sized image does show a goat with full sized ears.

I raised goats for many years. Yes this is a goat, Yes it is probably a Toggenburg with someone holding it’s ears back or at the least a Toggenburg La Mancha cross. And This is not the only person to confuse llamas and goats. Every year at the fair I listen to some parent tell their child “Look hunny thats a llama”

It is a goat but unfortunatly the folks saying its a Toggenburg are incorrect. While it’s colored like a Toggenburg you may notice that it’s missing ears. Toggenburgs have huge ears. This goat is a La Mancha

Technically, one is not supposed to “make fun” of a Rinpoche by drawing this sort of comparison, but I think His Holiness would laugh out loud if he saw this picture, whether you call it a llama or a goat. I think he would agree it is a goat. He might also point out it shows why we should extend love and compassion to a living beings — because we look like them! They look like us! We are what is known as interdependent!
