I love Jack Layton!!! And yes we Canucks know who he is. But I know the Americans don’t….I know I live with them. They don’t even know Canada’s capital! or Africa is a continent, not a country! Harper and Bush both suck! At least we don’t have Stephane Dion as our PM!!!
I know it’s very “fashionable” to make fun of Americans, but how many Canadians know the leader of the DNC or the deputy mayor of Chicago? And if you know people in America who DON’T know that Africa is a continent, then you really need to start hanging out with a higher class of people.

Good point about the DNC chair, but the deputy mayor of Chicago? That would be like comparing Nancy Pelosi to David Miller. Not even that, actually, since Miller is mayor of Toronto.

Gah, frikking Jack Layton…. Yes, my political views lean towards the right. However, I must point out that that does not necessarily mean I agree with everything politicians espousing those views do, and I tend to think that ALL politicians either are idiots or become idiots as soon as they’re in power. It must be something in the water.
And Jack Layton looks like my evil grade school principal. That guy — well, it was my grade four teacher who screwed me up for life, but that guy confirmed it and made it worse.
