You lot need your bifocals checked. Other than the beard…not much similarity.
Anyway, Plant is still very, very attractive. I can’t quit watching DVDs of Zep
and wishing I’d been born earlier. I think I was too young at their peak even for Pagey to get interested!
Is Robert married again by the way? Or having it on with Alison these days. What a beautiful man. What a body! And he was/is so funny and charming, too. Nobody really comes close.

Not a coincidence. Robert Plant was openly influence and loves the story of The Lord of the Rings and is a huge fan of Tolkien. And even in interviews credits such as inspiration for those songs etc.

Well, that depends on how you look at it…chronologically or inter-dimentionally?

Bernard Hill was born in Manchester, UK, “Real” Earth, 17 Dec 1944 A.D.
Robert Plant was born in West Bromwich, UK, “Real” Earth, 20 Aug 1948 A.D.

King Théoden was born in Gondor, Middle Earth, T.A. 2948, which is a hellava long time ago, but it was Middle Earth, not “Real” Earth.

However, the LOTR trilogy was written in stages on “Real” Earth between 1937 and 1949 A.D., and casting Bernard for the part of Théoden wasn’t until 1999.

So…chicken or the egg?
