Its funny cause its true

Karen

It’s funny but also very very sad. Because it’s true!

yen

I thought the fundamentals of your economy were strong =(

Seriously!?!

They are. Factories are still producing, Farms are still growing food. People are still working. Its just the banks that have gone to hell :)

Rachel of Cyberia

I don’t need banks, I have coffee cans!

stevie w

Well, OF COURSE THE BANKS HAVE GONE TO HELL !! They’re run by a bunch of devils.

Jeremy

Ever see Zeitgeist? They really are, but also run the whole damn world.

Felching is a sexual practice in which semen or other fluids are sucked out of the vagina or anus of a partner. The acts of sucking the semen and then passing it, mouth to mouth or open mouth kissing, is referred to as “snowballing”; although the latter is typically associated with semen ejaculated into a mouth from fellatio.

George Bush

Good point, well made.

I could’ve gone my WHOLE life without knowing that and died happy. Ummm..thanks for sharing???!!!

WTF does this have to do with the US economy looking like a train wreck

Karen

I thought I was missing something. Glad to know it isn’t just me. And I agree with A.

Deacon Blues

Because the economy sucks?

I dunno, just trying to make some kind of sense out of it…

WarDragon

That made me wonder who came up with that meaning of suck and why…

EggZoo

Kit

I concure! It IS a train wreck!

abi

Don’t you mean “I concur”?

Skwearlly Bob

OK… echoes, parallels, is similar to, duplicates, takes after, reminds you of, bear a resemblance to, puts you in mind of, is analogous of, etc etc etc

Rev. Reed Braden

Wait… which one’s the economy and which is the trainwreck? I can’t tell the difference!

Guy

It’s the black line in the middle.
It always is.

Skwearlly Bob

Exactly!
I think the one with train pieces…. Wait!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Excellent use of this site.. the regular ones just don’t make me laugh much anymore. Or often not at all.

winatikathejawa

The U.S. economy just got SERVED!

Not You

Although, that train wreck is kind of an understatement (although it is on the federal railroad’s train that wrecked)

FaceMan

teh penguin

I don’t think this is the best one so far, I KNOW!

Sproc07

HAHAHA! I scared my dog because I laughed so loud.

This wouldn’t happen if the following situation didn’t happen 10 million times:

“Hey, honey! Wanna go buy a house for our 8 kids?”
“Oh, dear, you know we can’t afford a house.”
“Oh, it’s no worry! I’m sure the U.S. government will certainly take care of its incoming immigrants with no money!”
“Are you sure?”
“I’d bet 4 of our mortgages on it.”

Rachel of Cyberia

Hyperbole is the greatest invention in the history of the world.

Skwearlly Bob

Them’s whatcha calls NINJA LOANS!

NINJA = No Income No Job Accepted

Democratic Controlled Congress wanted All the “Poor People” to Have a “HOME OF THEIR OWN” despite the fact that simple common sense tells you that “Poor” usually means “Cannot Afford”!. I could go on… just read the news instead.

herb

… Just like all those people voting for the deregulation of the free market were closet Democrats, right?

Because Clinton suggested loosening the constraints a bit, he’s solely to blame, versus the seven additional years wherein those constraints were completely removed, taken out back, and burned in a giant bonfire.

I’m curious when the last time Bob read the news, given he thinks that the Democrat-controlled Congress accomplished all of this in a scant two years, when all these shady loans came about years before.

FYI: FoxNews & MSNBC exhibit punditry, not journalism; I suggest people study up on the differences.

mike

This is the most intelligent comment I’ve heard in a long time, all these follers out there just want to blaim all our problens on bush, think about the democrats or the CRATS as i call them have had true control for a long time. They spend so much time trying to stay on the good side of people they dont think of the repercussion. Bama is going to do this all over again CHANGE would be republications with control of congress for once in 20 years than we will bet some true change, and bring our contry back to the playing field

D'oh

This one is wrooooong, for a simple reason: it should be the WORLD economy is a wreck :P

MSCR

Rest of world still okay, actually. Just America is broken. Local media just likes to pretend it will affect us somehow. They like to pretend celebrities will affect us too, so you can’t trust them.

thaluikhain

Well, though, if people believe it’ll affect the rest of the world, they’ll lose confidence in the stock market and it will affect the rest of the world.

Martian

What planet are you from? The whole world is experiencing a crisis in the financial markets…. not just the US.

D'oh

That’s definatly not true, here in Holland we’ve got troubles as well (we just nationalised a bank) and have you heard about Iceland? Also, stock markets all over the world are plumiting. It’s definatly not just the US ;)

Chandd

Yeah it isn’t only in the US, but it is because of the US.

David

Look for some decoupling Peter Schiff style. (Recommend his books if you want to understand what’s going on, by the way. I’m not him.)

james

YES FINALLY SOMEONE MAKES THE POINT CLEAR!!!
This is what we get for relying on the Stock market which is based completely on fear and speculation. I say get rid of it, and let people spend money on whatever the fuck they want.

Martian

umm.. NO. The crisis isn’t the stock market (s)… they are just a bad symptom of what is going on. They aren’t the cause, they are just suffering because of the FINANCIAL crisis. If the stock market (s) didn’t exist, this would still have happened.

Sorry, I don’t like this at all…Leave the political stuff to Pundit Kitchen. The link is right up there…

jazzmoth

It’s not political. It’s just true.

Captain Pants

It’s also the economy! ;)
