Um, this isn’t the real queen; it’s Cate Blanchett as she portrayed the queen in a movie. Not a big deal but I think the little description under the image might confuse some folks.
No, I believe most folks would have a clue and those that don’t are probably so clueless they can’t tell the Tree Ornament from the Person anyway.
“Cate Blanchett as Queen Lizzy I” is a bit wordy for the space allowed methinks. I do agree that a better description is in order.
Uh… I’m pretty sure… that’s what the design of the dress is supposed to mimic…
Not the whole Tree Topper thing… but the whole Angel angle.
Point of order – Queen Elizabeth was queen of England, not Britain.
britain is part of england…
No… England is part of Britian.
at the time she was Queen of the Britons, all of them, not just England. So it’s accurate.
Actually, she was Queen of England and Queen of Ireland. It wasn’t until James I that the crowns of England, Scotland and Ireland were held by the same person.
Queen Anne became the first Queen of Great Britian in 1707 when the Acts of Union were passed. It was almost another 100 years before all three crowns where joined into the United Kingdom.
WIN! People that know about history are awesome!
Who are the Britons?
OMG. You’re kidding, right?
Cool! My little picture dude is soo cute!
(Sorry, just had a teenie bopper moment. I’ll go back to being a mid-20s woman now)
I pray for the fate of the universe if you’re inheriting the earth.
we are all Britons, and I am your king!
Well, I didn’t vote for you.
Well now, there’s the rub — you don’t get to vote for a king.
*coff* MONTY PYTHON RING A BELL?!?!?!? *coff*
Point of odor, Werrf stinks. ;D
Wow, she’s creepy.
Aren’t they supposed to be the same?
Fish and chips, malt vinegar and several pints of Guiness, and you are ALL right and I will die happy.
Uh, that’s clothes. Anybody can dress up like someone else.
I want to know if that stiff, pointy bodice is painful to sit in. I bet it pokes right in the business.
i feel for the designer who had to sew thing together.
