I definitely agree with you. I have noticed that too. Hugh would’ve made a wonderful Bond, unfortunately, Bond was British. Hugh Jackman is Australian. He could try a British accent. Throughout the Bond movies, a British actor was always played.

Hugh Jackman does bear, I think, a strong similarity to Eastwood, depending on the character being played. I’d like to see Jackman in more westerns for that very reason.

I was just sitting here watching Dirty Harry on AMC and couldn’t believe how much the 1971 Clint Eastwood looks like Hugh Jackman. I wondered if I was the only one who noticed and googled it, and see the resemblance has not gone unnoticed. BTW…………. Hugh should have been the next James Bond – not that Daniel What’s His Face.

I never thought of that before but I would guess they may have had Eastwood in mind when designing the movie look of Wolverine (Seeing as Logan is short, rarely has much facial hair, and his hair generally is a lot more gravity defying in the comics).
