How could the GOP pick this guy to run for president??? Sorry, Mr. McCain, I’m just not convinced you are the right guy to run our country. He’s consistently acted like a dope, and I just can’t think of him as “presidential”.

Read the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine. I know it’s a liberal mag but most of the article comes from McCains own book about himself. If it wasn’t for his daddy & gransdfather McCain would have been thrown out of the armed services.
I’m voting for Obama primarily because:
a) He’s a bit more serious about pursuing green energy.
b) He wants to get us out of Iraq.
c) His running mate has good, solid international policy experience that will complement Obama’s abilities
d) The running of Obama’s campaign demonstrates an ability to surround himself with better advisors than McCain’s.
Now, you can argue that all my reasons are wrong, uninformed or misguided, but they’re still my reasons. Remember: people generally make choices that are logical to them. Just because their logic doesn’t match yours doesn’t make them stupid. It just makes them different.
Oh, sorry, forgot one:
e) McCain’s approach to economics is basically “trickle-down,” which didn’t work under Reagan, and didn’t work under Bush Jr. (Plus, I honestly don’t think Obama’s gonna be able to pass through Congress every “socialist” program he’s proposing.)

that your logic is flawed or that you have been mislead or even that your
reasons are just leftist propaganda, such as Reagans trickle down theory not working, eventhough the largest peace time growth of jobs and prosperity were due to Reagans policies, not to mention the tearing down of “The Wall”
Reagan’s famous saying to Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev to destroy the Berlin Wall, which did happen.
Now as for Obama being able to pass his Socialist agenda….Let’s see…The house is Left, the Senate is Left, Nazi, I mean Nancy Pelosi is speaker of the house, Harry Reid, Kerry, Murtha, Kennedy….No that one I can’t agree with. Obama will get his socialist agenda backed by his followers and we will see what happens to socialism when the producers stop producing.

We the people just gave away our future to socialize the Supreme Bankers of this country, under the pretext that it will help us carry on as before. McCain had gone to shake hands with the moderator, but he turned in the wrong direction. He turned back, made a self-mocking funny face, and it became the still shot of the century (it lasted only a very brief second in action). It wasn’t directed at Obama or at anyone but himself.
I do feel sorry for McCain…I could see myself making this face, trying to make fun of myself. But you don’t get to be goofy when you’re running for Prez. (Only afterwards, I guess.)

Both presidential candidates did humorous speeches at a charity dinner last week. McCain was better at delivering jokes than Obama.
I saw the real Sarah Palin with Tina Fey on SNL on Saturday. Sarah is no Tina Fey, but she was very funny.
With their comedic talents, they may still remain on the national stage after the election.
I don’t watch SNL but I guess McCain has done at least one SNL skit prior to this election. He does a frighteningly good job of portraying a man stalking his own wife. It’s on Youtube, like everything else.
