Joe does spend the better part of AtU looking like Kurt Cobain, but that could also just be the drugged-out hippie look of a scruffy guy with blond hair and blue eyes. He keeps his hair much shorter most of the time, though, so the lookalike doesn’t usually work outside AtU. Still, nice spot!

these aren’t the best pictures to compare Kurt and Joe. so if these are the only pictures you’ve seen of them, don’t base your judgement solely on that. i’ve seen many pictures of Kurt, and i’ve seen many pictures of Joe. and they do look very similar. they have similar hair, eyes, nose, and lips. and facial hair. but without the facial hair, Joe’s chin differs from Kurt’s. Totally! Their eyes are so close to two people that aren’t related – it’s CRAZY! And this isn’t even their best comparison pictures. And, of course they aren’t going to look exactly alike, that’s a fact. But if you take a look at their eyes, lips, forehead, they are the closest matched unrelated people I have ever seen! I actually made a remark like this while watching “Across the Universe”!! My roommate has a theory that the similarity is intentional, because Sadie is reminescent of Janis Joplin and Jo-Jo is reminescent of Jimi Hendrix. All three–Cobain, Joplin, and Hendrix–are members of the “27 Club,” meaning that they all died at the age of 27. Other members are Jim Morrison and Brian Jones. Something kinda weird to think about..
