I don’t see any resemblence.
Circle is a primary shape, so that’s never quite worth mentioning, and furthermore, the Heroes logo isn’t a ring, it’s an eclipse so it’s a black spot with light behind it instead of light with a hole in it.

the ring poster isn’t a light with a hole in it. It’s the cover to a well being closed when viewed from inside the well. So essentially it’s a black spot with light behind it.

If you’ve seen The Ring you should be aware, that the circle in the poster is a “kind of” eclipse. In both posters you can see sunrays around the circles.

Creator Tim Kring’s surname does actually mean ring or circle in Dutch, so there’s a ‘funny’ coincidence.
Meh, I would not have thought of it on the grounds that I don’t have any posters for The Ring, but it’s pretty obvious… I mean really, it’s weak. The only reason I would not do it is that I don’t have a The Ring poster lying around.
