Wrong, Mashup. The actor that played Trapper in the M*A*S*H television series was Wayne Rogers. Will Ferrell’s dad is named Lee Farrell. Mike Farrell (notice the different spelling) was on M*A*S*H, but he played Captain Hunnicut.
Thank you fellow M*A*S*H fan! I was going to say the same thing. Although, aside from the hair, the chins look the same and the nose is similar even though the nostrils for Trapper tilt up a bit whereas will’s tip down…
