I knew that already! Actually Sir Ben Kingsley is playing President Hamid Karzai on a daily basis in Afghanistan.

Yeah, I remember seeing this. Maybe it was Kingsley looks like Karzai though.
Not bad. There is some resemblance.
Sir Ben’s mother came from what was then India but is now Pakistan, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she were from one of the northern provinces near the Afghan border. In short, what you are seeing is not so much a chance resemblence but an ethnic smilarity.

Wow, it’s pretty close actually. At first glance, you can’t see any difference at all. If you look a bit closer, you can sorta tell that Kingsely’s face is a bit longer…barely.
Kingsley played Gandhi in that biopic. And Hamid Karzai is usually seen wearing a fez-like hat (and now we know why).

They could pass for idential twins! Maybe Hamid can be Ben’s stand-in and stunt double.
“Totally Looks Like” posts where two people actual look very similar is NOT funny, and really not worth posting. When people look like inanimate objects, etc., that can be funny. This is just stupid.
It’s not stupid. It may not be particularly funny, but it definitely is interesting to a lot of people. I personally am intrigued by pairs of unrelated people who could pass for twins, and I’m sure many others who frequent this site would agree. If you don’t like something here, don’t look at it.
Ben Kingsley is better looking. His eyes are brighter.
