Chunk was the fat kid in the Goonies. Sloth was the creature that scared the bejeezuz out of them at first, then saved them in the end.

Goonies was one of my kids’ favorite movies!

Yeah, that was my immediate thought too. The Toxic Avenger is from ‘84 and The Goonies is from ‘85, but what the heck, it’s close and I bet a lot of people haven’t been to Tromaville, so they probably haven’t even heard of Toxie. Too bad though, it’s a great movie (if you’re into b-movies, that is), but don’t bother watching the sequel — it lacks everything that was great about the first one, except for Toxie of course.

does it bother anyone else when they put the pictures in the wrong order? i think that for one to look like the other, the original should be the one compared to. the toxic avenger came before goonies …to the best of my ancient memory lol

Batman=better than all the other heroes. WHY, you ask? He doesn’t have magical superhuman powers, he has to work to kick butt, and not many guys look that cool in black leathery-tights *except that guy at the bar that always hits on my hubby-but thats another story*

Was it necessary to qualify ’superhero’ with fictional? If so, where’s the line drawn for a ‘nonfiction’ superhero?! (And I mean SUPER heroes, as in having SUPER powers, not the real-life heroes like firefighters.)
