I think BB aged quite nicely actually. I remember being a kid and having a crush on her that stemmed in the first place from some photo I saw of her hugging a baby seal. Turns out she was 42 years old in the picture. So yeah, she was a “sex kitten” well into middle age. She’d be 74 now. I just hope I live that long and don’t really think I’ll give a crap what I look like if I get there in one piece.

“Nice” people get old and ugly, too. Some have head start because they were ugly in the first place or took poor care of themselves. Hasn’t a damn thing to do with karma-it’s called reality.

We’ll see what Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep and any of the other examples look like in ten years, which is how much age difference we’re talking about. 70+ is another decade beyond them into the truly elderly.

IF you are lucky you will live to be 73. When that happens, it will be so sad to look around and hear people speaking of you with complete disrespect, just because their bodies haven’t begun to age. I notice that we don’t make wisecracks about actors like Sean Connery, in fact he and other older male actors are often paired with much younger women, while the women try for character roles, or desperately cut and paste in an effort to look more youthful. You’ll rarely see Jack Nicholson with a woman his age.

I loved Helen Mirren (Mirrin?) paired with Cuba Gooding Jr. it was beautiful and completely believable when they made love.
