Try this look-alike on for size: The Phantom of the Opera starring Lon Chaney, Sr. (circa 1930’s). That would be a very scary face for Christopher Walken to wear incognito. His facial bone structure could support such a hideous “mask” even though he is quite a handsome man. When he was in his late twenties and thirties he had a “pretty-boy” face–beautiful heterochromia eyes and voluptuous lips! Check-out his earlier movies such as ANDERSON TAPES, MIND SNATCHERS, ROSELAND, NEXT STOP GREENWICH VILLAGE, WHO AM I THIS TIME, DOGS OF WAR as a start and see that he wasn’t ALWAYS creepy-looking! Not only is he a song-and-dance guy (his strip-tease in PENNIES FROM HEAVEN doing a tap-dance, no less, is a MUST-SEE!!!), he is also great in comedies (SNL, BLAST FROM THE PAST, UNDERTAKING BETTY, MOUSEHUNT, ILLUMINATA, SCOTLAND-PA, and so on…).
