Kiddies, if you don’t know what you’re talking about how about shutting it? You’re all too young anyway. Heath Ledger, hero, brilliant in ‘Knight’s Tale’, gives as The Joker a fantastic but derivative direct lift of Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice in ‘Beetle Juice’ (correct spelling of the movie, Betelgeuse is a star) which only goes to show how under-rated Michael Keaton really is. They’re both great performances. Miss you, Heath. And miss great performances from Mr Keaton who’s gone all square since. Now al go to sleep and get lives x

The joker character was a poor attempt to copy Beetlejuice. Not sure why Ledger got so many raves for a mediocre performance.

I notice some really want an exact look a like, although I admit, there are some really freaking comparisons! They don’t totally look alike, but there is a similarity with the wild hair, the dark eyes, pale face, grins hehe

As if any of us didn’t know what the question was asking …

What bothers me more about this one is that it’s the more recent JOKER who looks like the much older BEETLEJUICE, as opposed to the way the question is worded. It implies that Michael Keaton’s Beetlejuice looks like Heath Ledger’s Joker, and it is, in fact, the opposite.

Actually that is not a photograph from Beetlejuice – that’s Michael Keaton in Mr. Mom. That movie was made when you didn’t have to be super attractive to be in the movies. Poor Michael Keaton… he’s almost like a dead person now, but not quite.
