Eve from WALL-E Totally Looks Like a Dustbin

First.
A “dustbin”? Is this some strange British-speak for garbage can?
And I see where they were going with the “looks like” but it’s just not working.
It seems to be designed to keep dust OUT. It’s a trash bin at the most.
LOL!!! Are you kiddding me, or are you just a kid? Garbage can, dustbin, trash can, it has more than one name you know.
In my 27 years of existence, I have NEVER heard of it referred to as a “dustbin.” Trash can, trash receptacle, rubbish bin… all perfectly acceptable.
I’m english. and say dustbin.
No one knows what’s it’s like…to be a dustbin…in Shaftsbury…with hooligans…
Who’s Next?
Behind Blue Doors
Does NO ONE get my Bill Hicks reference?!!!?
Fear not– I got it.
Worldliness FAIL.
Huh? I’m confused. Are you guys talking about the rubbish depository?
ha ha ha, everybody loves a good smart ass:)
Are you talking about an intelligent buttocks or a sage donkey?
My butt has brains
there is nothing wrong with the word ‘dustbin’.
not strange at all.
for me i just call it a bin, but calling it a can is a bit lol soz.
That dustbin bears much more of a resemblance to R2-D2.
Came in here to post this.
me 2
I was going to post the same thing. Only, I was going to say “R2 unit.”
Ah… I think I get it. But I’ve seen trashcans that look more like her, with a swinging lid as the face.
Omg, I know that dustbin! It’s in the Netherlands, and I have pictures of me and some friends “customising” it to make it look like a… human thing. That was before Wall-E, though.
It’s “Eva” not “Eve”
Eve is correct, but Wall-E calls her Eva, which is adorable IMO.
Adorable:
When a fictional, soulless machine in a fictional, soulless movie about fictional things that never happened nor will happen repeatedly calls another fictional, soulless machine by the wrong name.
The two fictional, soulless machines then somehow develop nonfictional, soulful emotions, like humans. Then every nonfictional, soulless moviegoer feels the human emotion of “sad” when the first fictional, soulless machine gets fried, and acts like a fictional, soulless machine again, and returns to its duties. The second fictional, soulless machine tries to change it back to its less usable form, soulful. Static shock between the two fictional, soulless machines from the many metal particles in the trashed Earth air then somehow re-installs emotions into the first fictional, soulless machine. They live out their fictional, soulless lives until they break down and are scrapped for parts. ADORABLE.
I KNEW there was a reason why I rarely comment on these boards. Thanks for reminding me.
Your…I was going to say friends, but I don’t think that would be the correct word. So your, let’s say, co-workers must be delighted to see your happy, happy puss every Monday morning. Or your caseworker. Whoever the appropriate human semi-contact in your case would be.
So you liked the movie?
lol ah dear what are these boards coming to
I have a four year old and I doubt I’ve watched the movie as much as you have. You know you didn’t have to watch it, right?
genius: when a movie has NO dialogue in the first half, but still wins an award.
What do you have against fiction?
why do these boards always turn into soome kind of moan & or arguement lol
i’ve seen more dustbins resembling her/it w/e ;P
yes
Wall-E was a great movie, and yes, its fiction, gtfover it.
If you can’t respect something for what it represents, and not just what it is, then you have a really two-dimensional mindset.
Wall-E was Disney taking a crack at enviroMENTALism. Save the Plants, Save the Planet. I sure hope we’re not supposed to stop eating plants! I thought it was cute but I was watching it with an almost Wyde-esque overanalyzer. Sorta takes the fun out of sitting down with some popcorn and just watching a movie, doesn’t it.
oh, and WIN for a cute TLL, although the bin does look more like an R-2 unit disguised as a stormtrooper.
Awsome commen moonbaby.
And Wall-E is my favorite movie of 2008!
Ahaha. Cute. (:
But i think i know the place that garbage can is in. O____o Spooky.
Lol , i know where this picture is from : Hoog Catherijne in Utrecht , Netherlands , Europe
Shun Wall-E! Johnny 5 is ALIVE!
:]
