I never knew that the dollar menu “Dollar menunaire” advertisements had a mascot, never turned up on the commercials.

The dollar menunaire campaign belongs to one of the fast food chains — I think McDonald’s, but that’s evidently a character from it on the left. The other is the character Inigo Montoya, played by Mandy Patinkin, in the movie “The Princess Bride”.

It’s a fabulous movie and book.

I once did a Princess Bride themed project for my high school co-op placement. The photocopying machine became a rodent of unusual size and this room full of thousands of book donations that I had to catalogue became the pit of despair.

And yes, it was Inigo.
