I bet they built it like that on purpose.
Considering Union Terminal opened in 1933, I’m guessing the Hall of Justice was probably based on it, not the other way around.
Nobody ever looks up dates on these things.
WAY TO SHOW THE LEGION OF DOOM EXACTLY WHERE THE SUPERFRIENDS ARE!!!
It’s true, Union Terminal was the inspiration for the Hall of Justice.
People, people, ok….I’m here to clear this all up. Sit; listen. They built the terminal actually ON the city. And they built the city, yep, you guessed it, on rock and roll. See you there.
See now I hear the song fade in through the last 7 or so words but eff y’all. When aren’t I pwning these bishes?¿
The Hall of Jsutice was based on UNion Terminal. Here is an article from the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Matt
Everything is built on purpose. Buildings don’t just fly together at random.
lmao
Maybe not in your world.
Not yet….not yet…bwahahahaha.

First, I’m a chick, not a dude. And secondly, I have no idea what you are on about, I just like sub basement level 37.

Go Cincinnati!!!! Anyway, the Union Terminal is now Cincinnati’s natural history museum, although keeping with its original function, a train still runs through it everyday.
Natural History and Science Museum, Cincinnati History Museum, Children’s Museum and also the Omnimax.
But trust me, the administration there are NOT superheros. More like archvillians….
Yes, I am aware since I am originally from Cincinnati.
Most of us from Cincinnati, if you were a kid in the 80’s, refer to this as the Hall of Justice. Esp since there are several names for it like you just mentioned.
there is more then a single train, the entire yard is still in operation. was lucky enough to be able to visit the main control tower on the back side of the omnimax dome. most routing and scheduling for non amtrack trans are ran out of a control room down in Florida at this point in time though.
iz been der
Not only haz i ben der but i hav ridden a trane out uv der
Looks like I found a new spot for production spying!
MEANWHILE at Cincinnati’s Union Terminal…
WIN!
Greater Cincinnatians could only wish it was the Hall of Justice. Cincinnati needs cleaning up. you get shootings almost nightly only two blocks from there…
Only in certain areas does it need help. As it is with any major city. As for murder rates http://www.worst-city.com/Murder-Rate-in-US-Cities-worst-state-city-for-shootings-murders.htm
Cincinnati is ranked 20th, which I agree is appalling and should Cincinnati ever decide to put in the works the Building of the Hall of Justice, then I’ll be the first to sign the bill.
Yaayyy!!! Cincy represent!!!
There was a Warner Brothers studio right across from the Union Terminal, so yes they used the building as the model for the hall of Justice
I believe Superman’s home town (before he was moved to New York briefly, and then to “Metropolis”) was Cinncinnati. I’m not 100% sure, but it was definitely somewere in the mid-west…
uhhh… Smallville ?
Not sure if you’re joking or not…
To be sure, I meant that the writers of Superman had him living, working and saving lives in the city of Cinncinnati, working as a reporter for a paper called “The Daily Star” alongside Lois Lane.
In later issues, his location was changed to the fictional city of Metropolis, and the name of the paper to “The Daily Planet”.
Huh, I thought Siegel and Shuster had Superman living and working in Cleveland because that’s where they were from…
but I could be wrong.
wow….. i pass that every day and i never noticed that…. also, hall of justice was based on union terminal.
nope. I was there. Internet?¿ yep. That too.
this is kind of like Gotham=Chicago. since in the movie, clearly if you’re from here you can even tell what street they were on when they were filming.
uh… that’s just where they FILMED it!
it doesn’t mean it was based on it!!!!
union terminal IS the hall of justice.
showed this to my friend who works at a newspaper in cincinnati
he did some investigating
they totally look like each other for good reason!
