I dunno, it was scarier when it was Bridget Bardot and Aughara a couple of weeks ago…
If that pic of Maria is untouched, that is REALLY scary!

On the one hand, kudos to Maria for not going the hollywood-plastic-younger-me route, but it’s okay to let Oil of Olay help out with the ‘gracefully’ part of aging gracefully.
Either they age without surgery and we make fun of them, or they get surgery and we make fun of them. They are boned either way really.
You gotta take into account that that’s a… well, ridiculous face she’s making. I’m 25, and I couldn’t pull that scowl off. She looks like she’s sitting downwind of a diaper pail.
I laud Maria for going her own way. Karen Allen is another beautiful woman who has not had surgery to look fabulous in her middle age.

Apparently everything looks like something from The Dark Crystal. Anybody else think this movie is way too obscure to warrant the number of references it receives on this site?

Oh, I loved that movie, but it was a long time ago. I guess many others loved it, too, or there were just a lot of strange looking characters (which is also a true statement).
There is a sequel coming out… hence the renewed interest.
