I bow to your superior knowledge of how to spell the various types of paper. Yes it is “crepe”. I am filled with “chagrin” (a word I now actually hate because of Twilight) after making a complete arse of myself.

I laughed at the first comment too though, by Isabell. Her English and grammar really aren’t the best. But enough about that.

Very good points. Hip, hip, hooray to you.
However, the “Midnight Sun” Stephenie Meyer allowed her fans to read, was only a draft, very much unfinished, and full of typos!
I actually enjoyed “The Host”, since it was nothing to do with Twilight, unless you count the fact that it is based on the movement of souls between bodies. I thought that the writing in “The Host” was much better than that in Twilight, but by no means perfect.
I also think you’ve (whether inadvertantly or not) hit upon the main reason for Meyer’s writing style. It’s a “CHILDREN’S” book. Personally though, I wouldn’t let a child below the age of at least 13 read past “New Moon”. Meyer is writing from the perspctive of a 17 year old girl, probably to a predominantly 14-17 year old audience.
PS : There’s no need to be so patronising, “self-insert of Stephenie Meyer” is pretty self- explanitory.

Alright. First off, I DID read all four books. And Midnight Sun. AND The Host. And I still hate the series. I don’t “luv” them. Secondly, there are plenty of jokes on Bella, who is a Mary-Sue/self-insert of Stephenie Meyer. Literary term, look it up. Thirdly, the C.S. Lewis book was published AFTER Twilight, so, no they didn’t know about it.And, really, there’s nothing wrong with it. They look similar, but they’re by no means the same image. So, no legal action can be taken. Fourthly, no, but it has a lot of hype it doesn’t deserve. It’s crap writing. Stephenie Meyer has the literary talent of an unripe tomato. And, yes, I know about the Twilight hate forums and I agree, that is sad. If you have nothing better to do with your life but moan about a CHILDREN’S book series, you’ve failed.

I for one am an Atheist. I do not really have the desire to find out more about LDS [no offense].

I read Twilight because everyone else in my grade did, and I wanted to find out what all the hype was all about. I proceeded to read all four books, half of Midnight Sun [online], and The Host.

I still haven’t found out what all the hype was about.
