First!
Fail
Amen. Besides, Jonathan Davis IS an Uruk-Hai.
Indeed!! he’s a Uruk Hai
Uruk Hai are a “breed” of Orcs. This particular character is Ugluk IIRC. He was the leader of Saruman’s army of Orcs, Dunlendings and men who rode against Rohan.
/nerd
I was wrong. This particular character is Lurtz (Link).
I was wrong. This Uruk Hai is Lurtz. He too was a leader of Saruman’s army, but when Aragorn killed him (shortly after his troops made off with Merry and Pippin) his storyline ended. Thus, he was NOT in Two Towers so he did not rally against Rohan.
No, that’s AN Uruk Hai
Uruk Hai’s more talented.
SHUT UP!!!!! Jonathan Davis can heavy-metal kick your ass any day!
John Rhys-Davies (Gimli) can kick Jonathan Davis ass …..especially with a battle-axe.
SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!!!!! KoRn is the BEST heavy Metal band EVER!!!!! He can Heavy-Metal-music kick your ass any day. and Gimli is a midget anyway; he probably can’t even sing.
Burrruurr-aaaarummm ! FYI, John Rhys-Davies was the voice of Gimli and Treebeard …and is actually 6′1″.
Actually John Rhys-Davies WAS Gimli…and the VOICE of Treebeard.
Wow. Someone’s only listened to radio metal, I can tell.
Korn USED to be pretty awesome. Their new music sucks. Compare their recent tripe to the Issues album, or Follow the Leader. Their quality has gone WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY downhill since then.
I still like them, though it was better WITH Head! WE MISS YOU HEAD!!!
I think Korn is one of those things you outgrow, hence why everyone says “THEIR OLD STUFF WAS BETTER!” Of course it was better. You were 14 then, and you aren’t now. Back when Follow the Leader came out, people said it sucked compared to their first release. Same phenomenon in action!
I am so sorry, but I have to agree. Old good KoRn are gone..
Most of their music that made it to radio WAS from Issues and Follow the Leader.
If you want to talk about their old albums then you’re looking at Self titled Korn, which was followed by Life is Peachy.
In comparison very little music has made it to Radio from their newer albums.
Also, their quality hasn’t changed, they’ve just evolved.
I hate it when people start screaming sell out and whatnot the second a band decides to go in a different direction because they’ve grown.
Funnily enough if they made the same music they did back in the early 90’s then everyone would be blabbering about how they’ve never changed and it’s all just the same sound.
Can’t win really.
u makes me lol so hard
1999 Jonathan Davis, perhaps. 2009 Jonathan Davis sucks, and you know it. It’s like “Issues” sucked up all of his talent for the next five years, then “See You On The Other Side” used up what little was left.
He’s just fine! well… He’d be better with Head still there. Head? Are you there? WE MISS YOU!!!!!
yeah…I’ve pretty much given up on Korn. Right now, I’m all about Disturbed and Nightwish. (Have you seen the lead singer of Nightwish? Hot and talented!)
erm…. I’m not a guy, I’m a chick. and as far as I can tell, the singer of Nightwish is a chick too. YAY!! DISTURBED IS AWESOME!!!! though the piercing in the singer’s chin/lip is WAY creepy!
I hope you mean Tarja. The new Nightwish singer is untalented.
Disturbed is my fave band though.
lol
Jonathan Davis is a very talented musician along with the rest of KoRn!! Issues was one of my favs and got me through a lot so to me a hardcore KoRn fan this look a like is insulting! Being this famous for this long cannot mean the music is bad cause it most definately ISN’T!
Your logic is flawed. Case in point, Nickelback. Terrible band, been famous almost as long as Korn has.
it’s true. Korn FTW
I always thought he looked a lot like John Travolta’s character from battlefield earth. sans the long beard of course.
huh… i would have picked rob zombie… just sayin’
yeah good call there too
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROB ZOMBIE!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *shrieks in fangirlish way* OMG!!!! ROB ZOMBIE, I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Korn my favorite band! They need to go on tour soon.
I know, KoRn needs some new songs. I MISS HEAD!!!!!!!
LOL, I love this. Please gentlemen, leave it alone. O.o I don’t care who it is, why are you so stuck on proving each other wrong….
Need to Compensate for something?
The Korn fans need to compensate for their lack of actual street cred.
Penis size probably factors in for some, but not all. I was enjoying the joke just fine until I realized the fanatics were loose.
I’m a chick AND a KoRn fan.
what hot freak
I know! YAY FOR KORN!!!!!!!!!!
freek on a leash! Oh yeah!
<3
Creep is actually a Radiohead song. they just did a cover on MTV’s unplugged. Radiohead’s version is much better than korn’s, but korn’s is still awesome.
FIND THE HALFLING ! FIND THE HALFLING !!!
I love TNT….Lord of the Rings this weekend and about every other weekend !
The Uruk-Hai (and Saruman’s) music is odd….I think it’s in … 2/5 time.
ONE-two-THREE-four-five.
ONE-two-THREE-four-five. ONE-two-THREE-four-five.
Korn have nothing to do with heavy metal… and Urul Hai are much cooler than Korn…
oops… Uruk… that is….
silence! KoRn is GREAT!!!! though Head made it better. WE MISS YOU HEAD!!!
hell ma keyboard breaked… i wanna write band not bang Oo
and you wanted to write “broke”? *grammar nazi*
Right on my friend! Let us true fans keep on headbanging to thier AWESOME music! *singing* I feel the reason as it’s leaving me, no not again! Make me bad…
I KNOW!!!!!!! YAY!!! Though I REALLY miss Head!!!! COME BACK, HEAD!!! WE MISS YOU!!!
YAY KoRn!!!!!! Heavy metal FOREVER!!!!!
no its gay rap/rock… shouldn’t you be cutting yourself or something…
Davis got old after a while. He has no vocal talent; even Dani Filth’s voice has more appeal to me. His lyrics get old and stale. I used to be a big KoRn fan, but now, I’d rather headbang to some real metal like Iron Maiden or Iced Earth or Dimmu Borgir
how about Disturbed or Rob Zombie? they’re worth at LEAST a look into!
How about trying to listen to something that’s not on the radio?
Agreed Disturbed is heavy music for people who dont like METAL. You want metal? Give these a try:
Amon Amarth
Dimmu Borgir
Megadeth
Arch Enemy
Gojira
Skeletonwitch.
Calling Disturbed a metal band is like comparing Hannah Montana to Janis Joplin
I think Lurtz may just be prettier.
eep! in 1999 davis = my biggest crush ever.
Kinda Looks Pedator
The Lord of the Rings movies are the greatest movies ever.
Is it wrong that the Uruk Hai in the LOTR movie kind of turned me on? Wait…. yeah… that IS wrong. Please disregard the first sentence of this post. *shuffles off back into obscurity*
ITT: blatant racism
You know, at first I wasn’t seeing it but now I do with the dredlocks and crooked teefs. Uruk Hai is browner and Jonathan Davis is pasty, though. That’s a major difference.
I used to worship KoRn. They used to be my absolute favorite band back in the day, but I can’t discredit them entirely because ultimately they got me interested in metal in the first place and opened me to many genres of metal…doom, black, and gothic metal being my favorites now.
And before someone jumps on my comment with “KoRn’s not real metal” and feel all proud of themselves for differentiating- I know.
What I mean to say is that KoRn got me into other hard rock bands, and I gradually moved onto heavier music through the more mainstream, radio-friendly rock bands I was already listening to.
I actually found a lot of great metal bands through doing some “research” of my own: listening to the metal bands that influenced these rock bands, inspiring me to dig deeper, search harder and I continued to find darker, more extreme genres of metal that captured my attention more than most bands ever had.
For that, I am thankful I listened to KoRn in my teenaged years because that kind of music was an opportunity to find bands to follow on my own.
