The Perfect Witness Totally Looks Like Baseline Killer
ยป Think you can do better? Make your own!

I think that’s actually the same picture….
But for some reason, the thumbnail is a different shape.
Things that make you go “hmmm…”
It is definitely the same girl, and the hands in the exact same place.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM,
Every body DANCE now!
that and the brow on the right of the face has the same little hair or piece sticking out in both pictures….it bothers me a little
They’re called stock images. Designers pay for them and use them in their work. And… yeah I guess sometimes they can unknowingly create near-replicas of other works… Hm. COULD be coincidence? D:
oh yeah, totally forget they do that sometimes….until this happens, hahaha. i still feel the urge to fix that little wayward hair on the eyebrow O.-
The magic of SHOOOOOOP!
I totally was gonna say that!
It’s definitely the same girl, and the hands in the exact same place.
Oh and the eyebrows!!!! look at the inner part of the eyebrow oon the right – same flaw…. oh yeah, this is a recycled picture
I totally agree with you!! You can really see it in the eyebrows
same pic… with some FX
damn, where do these movie covers lookalikes come from?
They suddenly popped up last months… Never seen any cover-lookalike before that…
I’ve been thinking the same thing. I know cheap movies are cheap, but . . .
I agree, the eyebrows and many other features are congruent.
“SO MUCH PLAGIARISM SO LITTLE TIME”-paraphrase of Nowhere Man
That is totally the same picture…The fingers, eyebrows are identical. Hmmm, do I smell a lawsuit?!?
The photo is a stock photo, probably royalty free. I’ve seen it used on a violence against women PSA poster, too.
2nd!
The thumb’s slightly different, but that coulda been photoshopped….
I call plagiarism.
Peace,
JT
Nope, the thumb is in the exact same place, but the nail is slightly different.
dammit!
the reflections in her eyes are different…and that’s the only thing different (other than the color of the skin)
It would be different anyway. On baseline killer her eyes have been photoshopped or something so there’s the shame of a person in them.
you mean “the perfect witness” (and shape*)
Is that Jennifer Aniston?
At first, I thought that was Jennifer Aniston too… Yet she didn’t act in both movies.
Check out the cover of Babysitter Wanted, too – they’re all exactly the same picture.
Wow!! three pictures with the exactly same poster. A totally lack of inspiration
Wow, good find…No wonder these movies never get popular.
May not be plagiarism so much as a relicensed image. So yes, definitely a copy. But not necessarily shady.
All these movie posters showing up twins… has Hollywierd gotten so bad that now, after making not very many original movies, they can’t even make original posters?
(I know my grammar sucks. It’s early and the coffee’s still brewing.)
Well if they can’t come up with an actual original movie (which is the fairly important part) why would you expect them to waste any actual thought on a poster, which is not so important.
My guess is that these movies have the same distributor, one that puts out a bunch of DVD titles and recycles art from a library of images that they simply recut, edit and touch up as needed. Conversely, it could be a cover art supplier that does the same thing. With the sheer number of cheap DVDs released, it’s not surprising that they each don’t have their own concept art and studio photo shoot for the cover images.
This one is probably known as “generic thriller cover #47″.
they are the same image just slightly altered in photoshop. They each probably used the same stock photograph which means they bought certain rights to an already existing photo, but they clearly didn’t buy exclusive rights so the image can be used for other purposes by other companies (as long as the rights are purchased). It’s a cheaper alternative to hiring a photographer, Illustrator or Graphic Designer to design an original poster for you.
I agree… It IS the same source picture… look at how the nose is shifted from the guy’s hand. Even if you had to do copy, that’s a very small detail for a plagiarist to worry about.
Looking up these movies both are low budget, so it makes sense if they used stock pictures. I used to work with video games and we had stock sound effects and I hear the EXACT same sound effects used in various cartoons or other video games.
It’s the same photo! It’s amazing the things that people can do with with PhotoShop!
ok, this people need more stock photos…
am i the only one disturbed by the mention of BASELINE in the second title?
Yeah, that’s totally the same picture. There’s a little crease above the right (our right) eyebrow that’s exactly the same….those sneaky Hollywood producers…
yeah its the same
the BEST thing to see is the nose in my opinion…
look where the finger (that one that covers the mouth) touches the nose so the nose “goes higher” a bit… definitely
ps sorry for my bad english
That movie the perfect witness has the worst tag line ever “do you fit his profile” wow. fail.
That’s a stock photo and a self portrait:

Looks like the same thing, with someone talented at Photoshop making some modifications.
I wouldn’t say “talented.” That amount of ’shopping could be done in 15 minutes by an amateur.
it’s the same picture, about the fingers, the thumb? maybe it’s photoshopped….
It also looks a lot like the Afghani girl from the cover of National Geographic. Minus the hand.
Looks like they both used the same stock photo.
yeah definitely the same – see http://www.csulb.edu/divisions/students2/intouch/archives/2006-07/vol15_no2/10.htm
I’ve actually seen this stock photo a lot of places. xD
Also, http://www.horror-movies.ca/albums/userpics/poster_Babysitter_Wanted_poster.jpg
yea totaly all the same pic very detail
This is exactly why its a good idea to take your own promo picture rather than useing stock.
Exactly, or else we end up catching you and putting you on this website for the internet community to mock a lack of creativity
This happens a lot with bookcovers. The publisher uses and reuses stock photos and the same cover can wind up on very different books.
more rencently I saw a book on women’s spirituality had the same cover as one of the Twilight books and a book by Joyce Carol Oates (“Faithless”), had the identical cover to a book that was an anthology of erotica.
and I do agree that the woman looks like Jennifer Anniston and it is possible that it is. It looks like her when she was much younger and it could very well be her if she posed for movie stills or pictures when she was just starting out that wound up as stock photos somewhere.
Wow anyone would think most designers use stock photos to make posters with and OMG two different designers used the same stock image
MINDBLOWING!!!!!!
Oh yeah.. that’s the same picture.. just with a photoshopped thumb and some more blood.
lame!
It is the same girl, check out the eyebrow scar. They just doctored the picture with a different hand.
same girl, same hand, different thumb :>
lol same pic
o ye the thumbs r diffferent
It’s the same picture. I saw some guy on youtube who made a walkthrough on some editing program and edited it.
OMG!!!!!!!!!! GOTTA BE SAME PIC EDITED!!!!!!! *faints*
The thumbnails are totally different.
And the middle one does remind me of Aniston, but that may be because they made the nose glowy and longer than in the other two.
Do’h!
Link in name is what I’m reffering to, I added the 3rd image for your perusal.
here’s the same cover on a book
http://www.amazon.com/Unpretty-Suspense-Sharon-Carter-Rogers/dp/141656649X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1240754109&sr=1-1
That’s because it is the same picture. It’s a shame the person didn’t know how to use photoshop well enough to disgise this one; I feel a lawsuit coming on.
same picture .. do your research .. same picture that was digitaly edited … for all you ppl left behind when we made it to the computer era .. its amazing what these great computing machines can do!! … who needs ppl … you’ve got a computer!
*for all you fools that was a refference .. can you figure out to what?
They both look like Jennifer Aniston.
The dangerous of stock photos!
The Baseline Killer (WTH is that?) had the photo lengthened a bit, aside from the other obvious edits. That’s why the thumb and the nose appear different at first glace, but it is clearly just an edit.
The only difference is the thumbnail and the person reflected in the eyes.
She even has the same freckle undenreath her left eye
Yeah, it’s deffo. the same person, there’s even the same freckle under her right eye-brow…
Stock Photo – here is the original
http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup.php?id=2090996
photo shopped…
It is the same picture, look at the eyebrow shape, the nostrils, size of the eyes.
you should see the movie poster for “babysitter wanted”
Ha, I wonder if this chick knows that her photo’s been used for so many cheap horror flicks.
She should be deeply honored.
David Marmolejo…google him.
another look-a-like that i cant find the right pictures for, is the gate outside their house from ‘meet the robinsons’ and the ‘richie rich’ symbol.
that is the best one i have ever seen tht maybe the same picture though
The nostrils, eye-lashes thumbnails (Exept for thumb) are all same *cough* lazy *cough*
