indeed
FIRST !
More like third. Can you count?
I will point out that often when I have posted something and appear to be first, someone from a different time zone will then post and have their post appear before mine. So, ass might have been first when s/he posted. I’m just sayin’.
Doesn’t matter if it was first or not, the very act of yelling first is an automatic fail. Your explanation is irrelevant.
And your (Ed’s) explanation makes me happy.
Ed’s planations are always good.
Fail!
2nd and 3rd!!!
Ev the branches they sit atop are similar.
I’d say a win for the creator of this, but a fail for one of those logomakers.
*Even.
Its normal since it was bought throught Shutterstock…
Twitter is a bunch of fail. They say they dont collect your info…….but if u get 3 comments flagged you get banned from the site. Everyone on the interwebs lies.
Even their ToS states that they DO collect your info, and pass it on to 3rd parties.
There’s been a big uproar about that lately.
h geez how’s that?
I guess it depends on which one of these was made first, and then that person is responsible for the copying.
It’s a royalty-free image from a microstock site. Twitter didn’t buy an exclusive license, so whoever wants to buy the image can use it however they want.
I dont think any has ever gotten around to buying it, cause a smal reataurant in my area has the same thing on thier outdoor sign. I took a pic but hadnt posted it yet.
Feh. They’re nothing alike. One bird is facing right, the other is facing left. You people need your eyes checked.
Agree… AND one is green and the other blue
Don’t see how anyone could think they are similar
OOH! I’ve got an idea for submission – Dr. Evil’s cat looks like Mini-me’s cat. And it has to be in that order, too.

???
LOL
I still fail to see why Twitter is so popular :/. Isn’t it just a bunch of myspace/facebook status updates?
It’s yelling into a void and hoping someone actually cares.
Demi Moore cares and so does Chuck Norris.
This.
Isn’t that what you’re doing now?
because the celebz are on there!
i have to admit, rainn wilson’s tweets are hilarious.
It is also the same bird used by shirt.woot
… to direct you to their twitter feed. THAT one is intentional.
Must come in some fancy web-design clip art package
twitter is facebook without the features.
I’m making an inane comment on totallylookslike.com !
Good show!
This is strange, I was thinking of posting one like this. The bird and branch on a metal water bottle I have also looks exactly like the Twitter bird and branch. I wonder if it’s some kind of company clip art…
Wow. Hmm.. Copyright infrindgement, anyone?
Wow…spelling lessons for “infringement,” anyone?
Seriously…
It was purchased from a stock photo site where anyone can buy it for use on their website. It was not “copied” or “traced”. The stock photo site just doesn’t offer exclusive rights.
doh, ive been beaten by seconds….
you’ve won this time!!! lol
its probably because they bought the same vector stock art off istock or wherever.
The pic is actually an image that can be bought from the image resource site istockphoto.com for a few bucks, and anyone can buy it as it’s royalty free…
Almost the same image is also used by a Polish shoe manufacturer to advertise its spring shoe collection. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any image on the net.
Trace! Bad, bad Twitter.
Bad, bad Ilosct for not reading the above explanatory comments about stock photos and no exclusive rights.
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
First!!!!!!!1!! ? ?? > > ?
Tea Tree came way before Twitter.
So it should be flipped.
Yes, however, Twitter totally pwns Tea Tree.
It’s called a stock photo, people.
This too!

OMG U PPL R SO RACIST. GET A LIFE
I’ve seen a few of these “totally looks like the twitter bird things”. Though no matter how much I look, I can’t find a picture of these products with that logo on it. Only in these close up grainy images have I seen it. Even with the same background on this one. I’ll believe it is true and not someone altering pics when there is a better pic.
Second-to-last!!
