When I was a kid, we totally had a Sandy the Sandman doll that looked just like Chucky. Blue outfit, shaggy red hair, evil face. My mom loved the stupid thing, but my siblings and I were so disturbed by it that we kept hiding it in the back of the closet.

Hahahaha! That’s where my brother’s Corky and my Cricket dolls used to go. The back of my parent’s closet. I saw Chucky when I was little and it totally traumatized me. I used to have nightmares ALL the time.

It’s true, I did not know of the doll until I watched Mike Mozart’s video-yet in my opinion I was inspired.
Chucky is actually based of the Cabbage Patch Dolls. Child’s Play was made when the Cabbage Patch Dolls were really popular. The brand in the movie is the Good Guy Dolls. Chucky is a combination of puppets. He is voiced by Brad Dourif.

Actually, the My Buddy doll was modeled after the Baby See ‘n Say. And Chucky was based on My Buddy dolls. At least that is what I learn from Mike Mozart’s video on this doll.

I know this is a old tll but the chucky is more like my buddy as stated before.
My babysitter locked me in a room with one and removed the doorknob. I had the my buddy doll then he put on the movie, I was very young. Totally true.

I used to know people who owned Chuckie dolls. They told me about how the would go to sleep with on their dresser, and when they woke up it would be on the ground standing up. That scared the crap out of me. But, then again, I was only like 7.
