Yeah, and Hugh Jackman is a full foot taller than Wolverine. Leaving the most recent movie aside, he was obviously the right choice.

I don’t think physique is too important, and in any case as Christian Bale has pretty well proven, you can always change the actor’s physique to fit the role if necessary.

Umm, NightTrain? It wasn’t Joss’s fault. He had a script. But TPTB didn’t like his script. Go check out Whedonesque for the entire HUGE discussion re: Wonder Woman and who would’ve played her had Joss been kept on as script writer.

Morena is gorgeous and graceful, and I’d love to see her (And the rest of the Firefly cast, for that matter) get more exposure. So glad Nathan’s got “Castle.” And Adam’s in “Chuck.” But where are the rest? Is Jewel still in “Stargate: Atlantis”? I think Gina’s got a new show coming up, Alan’s going to be in something fairly soon, but where’s Sean? What’s Ron up to these days? (Besides scaring people with that laugh.) Too bad FOX canned “Terminator” – Summer owned that show.

They had to cut the archery teaching scene from Serenity because it made Inara look too much like Wonder Woman. But anyway she’s hot. Not all fights are won with weapons (sometimes you gotta sleep with the right people XD). In that way Serenity was a bit disappointing because they had to fight all the way through it.

Yeah when Whedon was on Wonder Woman (when Wonder Woman was still on), he joked something about “where can I find an olive skinned, black haired beauty?”. As much as she looks like WW in the face and hair, Inara is just too short and delicate for the role. She could bulk up all she wants but she couldn’t have the physical presence the character requires. She has the personality presence, but she’s just too small. Which sucks because I love her.

Linda Carter looked Terrible, man. Have you watched it recently? She was like a scarecrow in a spangly suit.

Wonder Woman doesn’t need to be a beefcake, but they should have a look of strength about them. Lucy Lawless as Xena, for example. (Although that particular actress would be a bad choice for WW)

And as for the various DC incarnations? Google Image search for “Wonder Woman” and look at the recet artwork for her. She has strength and muscle tone, she’s just not just some bulimic supermodel with superpowers.
