When was it made? I might be so young that I haven’t seen it.
Now, I’d bet a dragon egg that soon enough, they’ll be making a remake of that movie with epic amounts of CGI and “big-name” stars. That’s what people seem to be doing now. Along with movies based on books. However, I’m glad that a movie version of one of my favorite books will soon be coming out! Well, not soon persay…it’s in Feb. 12th, 2010. But still, I expect it to be awesome. Or, at least, pretty good.

The movie released in 1993, and I agree that they will be remaking it soon enough.
However, this isn’t a goomba, this is Iggy, an aquaintance of the Mario brothers in the movie, after he has been shot with the De-Evolution gun by King Koopa.

Let’s see: Journey To The Center of The Earth, Race To Witch Mountain, and then there’s the ones based from TV shows like Dragonball: Evolution and Speed Racer, and of course, my favorite, ones based on books such as Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, Twilight, and-the one I was talking about two comments ago-The Lightning Thief.

Ha, yeah Super Mario Bros. Movie was epic. I was 15 when that came out I kinda always thought it was weird that in the actual games Goombas looked more like mushrooms and in the movies they made them more reptile like… akin to Bowzer.
Part of Don’s act was to pick on the biggest audience member he could find, ridicule the answers they gave to his questions, and call them a goomba 45 years ago.

I LOVED this movie when I was a kid! The little walking wind-up bombs, the uber-creepy goombas that danced, John Leguizamo’s obnoxious voice….ahh, those were the days.
