Michèle Mouton (born 23 June 1951 in Grasse) is a former French rally driver. She is the most successful and well-known female rally driver of all time, as well as arguably the most successful female in motor racing as a whole.[1]
She was the first (and so far the only) woman to win a round of the World Rally Championship, the Rallye Sanremo in 1981. If that’s the case, then most “white” people in this country aren’t actually white. The ability to tan is not something that pure white people are capable of. This means that if you can get a tan, then your “white” genes have been diluted at least once in the past. In other words, you have an ancestor of color.

I really don’t know what the reasons are. Maybe it was a way to own the word for themselves at the time. It was a term that was widely used during that time as a word of exclusion. Just look at the Jim Crow signs from the period. “Colored Drinking Fountain” etc.
