Actually if you look at the entire painting, the gentleman in red is the ONLY one fully clothed. There is another just wearing pants and two others aside from the one in this cropped piece we see here.
It’s the professor… why is he’s staring at him like that? Well perhaps this explains why Gilligan never got it on with MaryAnn or Ginger.. or the meaning of the nickname “Li’l Buddy”…
