V for Vendetta is a comic book / graphic novel written by Alan Moore and drawn by David Lloyd (mostly), published between 1982 and 1985 (well before Alberto made the illustrated shampoo).
It was filmed in 2005. and, whilst by common concensus the GN is better than the film, the film stands as a good adaption of the story.
