I think that’s why I like Adam so much. LOL. It was one of the first things I noticed. And there’s a shot they used in earlier seasons in an office with a Nightmare Before Xmas poster on the wall. made me lol. Put me in a room with both of them together, and I will most likely explode with happiness.

And that, my friend, is half the fun right there. Have you ever seen pictures from inside his house??? All the weird dolls and the strange ones he’s gotten from all over the world. He said his older brother Richard use to scare the heck out of him as a kid with messed up doll parts or some strange funk like that. So thank you Richard, for making Danny the wonderfully messed up genius that he is today.

I’ve been saying this for ages! Being a rabid Elfman fan, the first thing I thought when I saw Savage was “WOAH he looks like Danny”. They’re both wicked cool, maybe it’s a style only wicked cool people can pull off

But there is no clear cut winner on who is cooler, which is where I have issues. Both are huge dorks, only one likes to blow stuff up for a living (who doesn’t?) and the other likes to write the most complicated piece written for tubular bells (Futurama theme) in at least the last century if not longer. They’re both clearly complete and utter nerds…but I do not know which is the cooler of the nerds.
If Adam Savage looked like he were going to eat someone’s face, they’d look a lot more alike.

Elfman did’t really write the Futurama theme, he admits that he derived it from another song, almost note for note. It’s called “Psyche Rock” by Christopher Tyng. You can find it on Youtube quite easily.
