Nice one!
Funny thing. They both are a joke!
wish they would have found a younger picture of Tim Allen… But still.. it’s a good one!
Become a better you… with Binford Tools!
Fix your broken marriage…with Binford tools!
I would have said Martin Short. But thinking about it, he really looks like the love child of Tim Allen and Martin Short…
Me too! I work in a bookstore and every time I see one of his books I think he looks like a deranged Martin Short. I’ve never considered the potential Tim Allen before today, though.
Glad someone else agrees!
Finally one of the best “looks likes” in months.
That’s… actually kinda creepy….
I’ve known this for years! I love Joel =]
You love Joel???
That’s a joke, right? Because that guy is seriously creepy.
Yeah his wife is creepy looking too, like a barbie doll. They both have the same disturbing grin. And something about the look in his eye…. *shudder*
creepy only to you. guess all preachers are creepy to you.
A clevis pin is a type of fastener that will allow rotation of the connected parts about the axis of the pin. A clevis pin consists of a head, shank and hole. The hole passes through the shank at the opposite end of the pin from the head. A cotter pin is inserted through the hole to keep the clevis pin in place after assembly of the parts to be fastened.
Commonly the clevis pin is used with a shackle. A straight shackle looks like the letter C, with holes at each end; when you insert the clevis pin you create a D with the clevis able to rotate about the axis of the pin. A twist shackle provides a loop at a right angle to the axis of rotation.
A large bolt can function as a clevis pin, but a bolt is not intended to take the lateral stress that a clevis pin must handle. The heads of clevis pins sold to the farm trade or for other types of rigging are typically larger and safer to use.
Older implements, intended to be pulled by a team of draft animals, require a twist shackle to be hitched.
Like a set screw, a clevis pin is often used to prevent two other pieces from moving relative to each other. A clevis pin is less adjustable, in that it can hold the two parts in exactly one relative position (because holes must be drilled in both parts). A clevis pin is also more secure, as it is less apt to come loose due to vibration.
Typical uses of clevis pins include fastening turnbuckles in rigging. Clevis pins are used extensively in sailboat rigging, as well as the Automotive, Aircraft and construction industries.
Pika23, please stop posting this crap like Ivan the Mildly Annoying does. It is stupid and pointless and takes up space. Only a TOTAL DOUCHEBAG would do this. It would be much more interesting to know what your take is on the posting. Thanks in advance!
That reminds me; I need to go lube up the hinges on my truck’s doors…
Evil and Good battle again…
*yawn*
God, please hurry up and kick Satan’s ass. It has taken you THOUSANDS of years…
Actually, I didn´t like this one…
No way! Tim Taylor is hot and Osteen sucks.
“Tim Taylor is hot”? ROFLMAO
Does everybody know what time it is?! TOOL TIME! I think this one is pretty good!
So I’m NOT the only one!!! I always thought those two looked alike!
“I don’t think so, Tim.”
Really is more like Martin Short.
ok… pretty good… but Tim is way better. Osteen creeps me out!! Can’t tell if it is fake *religiosity*, bipolar disorder, or just a demon in a suit. o_O
How have I never noticed this before?!? You are right, they do look alike!! Wow.
It’s so annoying when people describe anything they don’t like as “creepy” and “scary.” “Mr. Rogers, he scares me!” “Joel Osteen is creepy!” “Those shoes seriously creep me out.” Get over it; Joel Osteen is about as scary as a sleeping bunny rabbit; just say you disagree with him, and leave it at that.
Joe Jonas’s eyebrow, it scares me!
I didn’t know who he was…I still don’t…but I found his smile eerie. I wouldn’t day everything I don’t like is creepy…but I would think if something creeped me out, I would inherently not like it. Something about his smile/eyes makes me think he’s going to so something…like put pickles in my oatmeal when I am not looking!
I liked the TTL btw
I can’t help but think he looks like he’s made of plastic EVERY time I see him. He’s SHINY. Like a Ken doll.
This is a total win, though.
Tim Allen’s character on Home Improvement is less fake than Joel Osteen
Tim Allen preaches better !
I bet Joel will be the next one to be caught in an exra-martial affair. The only question will be is it going to be a man or a woman?
Maybe with Kirk Cameron? I dunno. I still think it’s weird that the kid that played Mike Seaver on “Growing Pains” is a preacher. Creeps me WAY the hell out.
BAH! He looks NOTHING like Tim Allen.
As a Houstonian, and a frequenter of Berripop, the frozen yogurt place within walking distance of Lakewood church, and knowing a few of the people who work there…. Personally, I don’t like the guy. The people I know who work there are pretty cool, when they aren’t near it, but Joel Osteen is weird. The family is weird. The reason he’s the head of the church is because out of his family, he is the most attractive.
But I’m generally biased against organized religion in the first place. And I liked the center better when it was the Compaq center. I saw my first circus there.
As a fellow Houstonian, I have attended LWC in the past but no longer do so for my reasons. Personally, I don’t think it’s very nice of you to judge him or his whole family if you have never met the guy. That’s something that you can learn without having organized religion. As far as how he got to be head of the church, it’s a very touching story, you should read it and inform yourself a bit more before making assumptions. For the record, I think his brother is more attractive anyway.
ive always thought that
How have I never noticed it? Actually, I think I subconconnciously have, but never really thought about it.
When I first walked into Books-A-Million and saw the cover of that preacher dude’s book I thought it WAS Tim Allen. Therefore this comparison REALLY made me happy!
When I first saw Joel Olsteen on tv I thought “what the hell is Zach Braff doing selling christian books?”
They definitely look related.
ahaha! they have more than looks in common! both of them dont make any sense!
