First reply.
first reply FAIL
whoa
I think that was intentional. Soundgarden did it as a tribute to Chase Electric.

Interesting; I wonder where they both got the idea from originally?
…don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty confident that the graphic artist who worked up the album cover for Soundgarden preceded the graphic artist who designed the logo for Chase Electric, but I’m curious what the common source they were both independently inspired from.
Well, Chase Electrics phone number is right there in the photo… give them a call and ask.
They put me on hold. The hold music was Soundgarden. The plot thickens…
lol
what the heck is that symbol anyway?
sigh.
I’m pretty sure Chase Electric simply ripped off the Soundgarten logo.
well they definitely totally look alike
It’s not a Soundgarden logo. It’s the logo for BadMotorFinger- one of their albums.
Thank you for knocking that hideous picture of Joe Jackson off the top. UGH.
Wow.
It looks like a cool (old) 45 speed record center insert (for those who remember).
Oh wow, I really feel old now, because I totally remember those.
OMG those plastic inserts so you could play it on a regular spindle.
Chase Electric is Soundgarden’s day job, duh
That was SUPPOSED to be a SECRET identity! DAMN YOU DARTHLYLE!! *shaking fist*
…so THIS is where Kim Thayil’s been all these years…
Well, in 2008 he was working at the Cinnabon at Northgate Mall in Seattle, so this is definitely a step up for him.

Because they chase the electric dream.
Well, Chase Electric has a website, and they’re based in Snohomish, Washington state. Soundgarden was based in Seattle, about 30 miles southwest of Snohomish.
There are other Chase Electrics listed around that area, but I haven’t determined if they’re related or how long any of them have been around. Badmotorfinger was released in 1991.
The lightning bolts on the Chase logo do not overlap as on the Badmotorfinger logo, but it’s close.
give this man an overcoat and a pipe
is that what soundgarden looks like , i always thought they would be more …i don’t know ….human ,i guess !
Has anyone called Chase Electric and actually gotten through? What did they say?
Chances are good the owner is just a Soundgarden fan. This is a rare instance of samething that is actually funny given how out of context it is.
Very suspicious. It looks rather obvious that the design has been ripped off by Chase Electric. In that case i hope it was at least a fan who did it.
Badmotorfinger kicks huge ass anyway.
The album cover for Soundgarden’s Badmotorfinger was illustrated by guitarist Mark Dancey from the Sub Pop band Big Chief.

Who TOTALLT ripped it off from Chase Electric.
The drummer from Big Chief owns Chase Electric.
lol you have to be high to understand any soundgarden music video, even though they were my favourite 90’s band
I used to work for them. The logo IS the soundgarden logo. He liked it and used it. thats all. the designer of the logo incorporated it into the CHase sign.
