For example- WTF is holding those studs on that person’s head? Is it just glue dots or some bizarro piercing technique?
they’re called “biodermals” and they look similar to a normal piercing except that on the end that would go inside the mouth or nose etc there is flat oval shaped piece of metal that goes under the skin. easy to have put in, incredibly difficult to remove!

What I don’t get is that someone has those metal things attached to their skull, wears a dog collar, then thinks, “I know, if I put lots of pink and purple makeup on and bad lipliner, I’ll really be attractive”
Actually they’re callled microdermals and it is not a flat oval shaped piece of metal. That would be a skin diver,which is harder to keep in the body than a microdermal, which have an internally threaded base that look somewhat like a soda pop can..but yes it is inplanted into the skin as an anchor to hold jewelry in place.
