  1. dai says:

Looks like the comic was copied from the Bella picture

    • Passerby says:

      Agreed.

It does look intentional, but the submitter deserves point for finding such a lookalike in a rather obscure magazine.

      Good catch.

  2. JTB says:

    Well, yeah definitely similar.

  3. tehk1w1 says:

    omg moar plagerism!

  4. deoboed says:

Wow, random indeed. I wonder if they thought no one would notice.

  5. philip says:

Well, apart from the hair. And the eyes. And the eyebrows. And the clothes. And the armband. And the skin color. And the shape of the face.

    Yeah, great.

  6. Jimmy says:

Someone turning their head totally looks like someone turning their head.

    • NixonAgnew says:

no, look at it closer, it really does look like the comic was based off of that shot…. hand placement, hair placement, general facial structure… being an artist myself, it looks like the person who drew it used that shot as a reference and then tried to make it a look just different enough to not look identical to the shot of Kristin Stewart…

of course, I’m not sure how excited I am about one image looking just like its reference image… but, it’s clearly too similar for coincidence.

I can’t help but wonder what the title of the “random Spanish comic book” is… that might be nice to know.

  7. viktorism says:

Haha, the artist probably thought nobody would notice xD

  8. UpTheYingYang says:

This is not unusual for Spanish or Italian comic artists. They use a huge amount of american movie and tv reference materials as very few are seen outside of those countries. This was big in the 70’s.

  9. d says:

Well, I tried a link, it didn’t seem to work. The title of the series is Libro Sentimental; this particular comic is Mi Mejor “Amiga.”

  10. Caitlin says:

That “random” Spanish comic book, was actually a Twilight comic. It was on Stephenie Meyers website a few months ago.

    • Lainey says:

      HAHA! Go figure!

    • d says:

I think there is going to be an official Twilight comic. I don’t think this is it. I could be wrong…it’s not like I’m a fan of this tripe, but I do like to google.

      • the_original_shortright says:

the twilight comic is supposed to be in a more graphic novel type drawing style. ew(dot)com had a sneak peak of it a while back. this most DEFINITELY is not from the twilight comic.

        • Caitlin says:

I didn’t say the GRAPHIC NOVEL. Those are two totally different things. There was a Spanish comic that was supposed to be a version of Twilight. I saw the Graphic Novel on ew.com. I know that’s not from this.

        • princess0764 says:

ur right there is a twilight graphic novel and it will be in manga form.

  11. rectangle says:

OMG, so girl with thumb on her cheek totally looks like girl with thumb on her cheek!?! They look NOTHING alike! There are slight differences!!!

  12. professor annoying says:

    zzzzz

  13. RiderLeangle says:

I’m more concerned that the person who made this actually knows the name of a Twilight character….
    Tell them to get out…

    • Kelly says:

apparently you are familiar with twilight characters yourself, so what are you complaining about?

      • Annie Crimefighter says:

Really, Twilight characters’ names are pretty well known. Even people who have never read the book, seen the movie, or spoken to a Twilighter have at least heard of Edward Cullen. It’s like Harry Potter. You probably haven’t read the book or seen the movie, but you know his name.

  14. Annie Crimefighter's Subconscious has 50 points says:

The drawing has more life behind its eyes.

    • HihI says:

the best ever. I dated a guy who had two, count em, two, lazy eyes. and they were still more lively than zombie head. i almost puked when i saw she’s gonna play Joan Jett.

  15. Edghyatt says:

    Random?

Haven’t those comics been around since the 80’s? Maybe it’s just a rip-off, or something, but some series of comics that look like this have been huge hits, kinda like Nancy Drew and such (but yeah, this particular one does look a bit random… but earlier than Twilight by all means).

  16. Ai says:

Wow, only a truly rabid Twilight fan would find something as obscure as this and put it on the site. lol

  17. Sarah says:

    I submitted that too…lol

  18. Kelly says:

i really don´t see it. they just have their heads turned in the same direction and have their thumbs on their cheeks. everything else is different. the hair, the eyes, the lips….the nose looks similar, i guess.

    • Annie Crimefighter says:

Exactly. The artist probably tried to re-work the image a bit, and just made it look a tad disfigured. They really do look strikingly similar.

  19. Ashley says:

Every single time there is some form of Twilight on this website, all people to do is complain. Shut up already, Ok, so not that many people like Twilight, but hearing you bitch about Twilight is worse.

  20. butt pucker says:

uncanny with my legs spread open!!!

  21. Ahiru77 says:

    Cool Bella…..

  22. Rei says:

It could be the spanish version of a doujinshi, which are Japanese fan comics based on some other popular media. They are sold at cons and within groups, sometimes they even end up being picked up by publishers and sold legally etc.

  23. brandon says:

bella swan totally looks like kristin stewart

  24. Louise says:

You can’t see in this picture, but they’re wearing the same bracelet aswell.

  25. PeytonSawyer says:

its probly based on the pick of bella, spanish people like twilight too

  26. chelsea2 says:

they look incredibly alike… i bet one was based off of the other.

  27. Mickey says:

You know, who even cares about “Bella Swan” in the first place!? She only became popular because of Twilight.

  28. awalker says:

    twilight<random spanish comic book

  29. Dr. Octagonapus says:

Yes, but I bet ten-to-one the comic book has more brain cells than that Bella-creature.

Ah yes, go ahead twitards, have at me.
