Someone First’ed McFirst?! You sir, are the finest in all the land. *bows*
Call the freakin news!!
FIRST!
Fail…
Win…
Also, walls ice cream.
Wall’s and Good Humor are both owned by Unilever, which releases all it’s ice cream under the same “heartbrand”.
Or so wikipedia tells me.
so how do you know autism awareness isn’t owned by unilever?
Also, in New Zealand we have Streets ice cream.
… Streets = Walls = Good Humor
= Owned By Unilever
And Streets ice cream if you live in Australia/New Zealand.
And Ola ice cream if you live in the Netherlands
And South Africa…
And Portugal
and belgium
Surely just Walls generally is a better comparison? Or does it not exist in the US?
also look like the algida logo…ice cream
Looks like Streets to me
it’s some sort of a pedo/incest-symbol as well, a small heart inside a big one…
And Holanda icecreams if you live in Mexico.
And ‘Langnese’ here in Germany…
And GB in seden
Sweden that is…
It’s ‘Kibon’ here in Brazil.
GB Glace in Finland
Frisko in Denmark
Algida in Hungary
La Fuente in Colombia
Walls in Britain
Olá in Portugal
Its Algida in bulgaria
I have no idea what it is in America
And “Ola” here in The Netherlands
Well it seems there is a different ice cream shop with the same logo for every country. Kinda makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
yes in belgium it is calld ola and i think in france it is frigo
In Poland it’s called “Algida”. The word means nothing, but sounds outlandish, therefore sells well. Oh, and the “Glade” air freshener is called “Brise”.
It’s Algida in Greece, too.
I thought it was Miko in France.
i kinnda like this one if you or a family meber has autisum or any of the family of autistic traits you realy need a good sence of humor
Trust me im one of those mums
I have an autistic sister. I understand.
i am autistic.
or rather: i have an autism spectrum” diagnosis”, and TRUST me – you REALLY need a sense of humor to cope with all the ignorant people when you or a loved one has autism.
Hey guys! I went on wiki and found this. I didn’t know about this, so I thought it was pretty cool!
Unilever is the world’s biggest ice cream manufacturer, with an annual turnover of €5 billion.[13] Except for Popsicle, Klondike, Ocean Spray ice cream, Slim Fast ice cream, Breyers, Starbucks and Ben & Jerry’s, all of its ice cream business is done under the “Heartbrand” brand umbrella, so called because of its heart-shaped logo. Unilever currently operates eleven ice cream factories in Europe; the biggest include factories at Heppenheim in Germany, Caivano in Italy, St. Dizier in France and Gloucester in the United Kingdom.
The Heartbrand was launched in 1999 (and slightly modified in 2002) as an effort to increase international brand awareness and promote cross-border synergies in manufacturing and marketing (“centralisation”). It is present in more than 40 countries[13]. Although the logo is common worldwide, each country retained the local brand so as to keep the familiarity built over the years, one notable exception being Hungary where the previous Eskimo brand was replaced with Algida in 2003.
In 2005, Glidat Strauss received special permission from Unilever to export their brand of ice cream to the United States because of the strict kosher certification the products in Israel have. Under terms of the agreement, Strauss ice cream and krembo may be sold only in kosher supermarkets and import shops. It is distributed in North America by Dairy Delight, a subsidiary of Norman’s Dairy.
A freezer in Queens, NY filled with Strauss ice cream from Israel with the Heartbrand
Prior to the heart logo, each country could choose its own logo, although the most common one consisted of a blue circle with the local brand’s name over a background of red and white stripes; second most common old logo, used by Wall’s in the UK and other countries, was a yellow logo with Wall’s in blue text.
Unilever generally manufactures the same ice-cream with the same names, with rare occasions of regional availability, under different brands. Some of these ice-creams include Carte D’Or, Cornetto, Magnum, Solero and Viennetta.
And here’s a link to a picture with all of the logos!
http://www.cidadedoslogos.com/images/news/logos_heartbrand_unilever.gif
It’s completly the same as the Swedish ice cream factory GB Glace
http://www.malmo-kappsim.m.se/tavlingar/gphemdia/GB_GLACE_red.jpg

http://a3.twimg.com/profile_images/392710219/logo-strauss_bigger.jpg
totally looks like http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Langnese_Logo_invertiert.svg
Actually, it’s “GB Glace” (GB glass) in sweden, not just “GB”
Its also “Olá” here in Portugal.
It’s all the same brand, different names to appeal to different ppl/countries. In Portugal it’s Olá, meaning hello, in Brazil it’s Kibom meaning “so good” or sth like that – but it’s not actually a word it’s written how you say it, or it would be Que Bom :p
Isn’t that the tip top logo? Or some ice cream logo anyways…
Yeah Streets that’s it!
Algida uses the same exact logo… or should i say Good Humor uses the same exact logo
because autism is good humor
not realy devan its not a good humor to be autistic
i siad you need to have good humor to deal with autisum and the fcuk wits who dont deal with it
the face is autisum isnt very funny
So Good Humor ice cream causes autism?
Or autistic kids like ice cream?
dont say thigs like that hunny
1 you’ll send people like me who have autistic kids round the bend
2 you’ll mkae idiots panick
3 it realy isnt funny
Yeah, just like the vaccination thing, idiots panicking.
Any correlation with bad grammar?
yes there is
dyslexcia is on the same spectrume as autisum along with dysphraskic add adhd aspergers and many other isums that i cant spell
My sister is Autistic, and my heart yearns for a cure. In fact, the full vaccination gave my sister Autism, the part vaccination gave me ADD, and no vaccination gave my other sister nothing. So please keep negatives to yourself, this is something serious and heartbreaking.
with all due respect: please keep anti-vaccine propaganda to yourself as well.
i have add, dcd and autism spectrum, and i wasn’t vaccinated either.
My brother has autism, but was diagnosed when he was three – before he had any vaccinations. I had the very same vaccines, and nothing… and I come from a family rife with mental illness (of my five brothers we’ve got Paranoia-schizophrenia, bipolar, autism, depression, signs of early dementia in my eldest brother and addictive personalities across the board). So please to be keeping your propaganda to yourself.
*LOL*
Kibon [ice cream] in Brazil!
That’s horrible! There’s nothing funny about autism!
That’s horrible! There’s nothing funny about autism! *facepalm*

“ola” in belgium
In sweden it’s the symbol of GB Glass (GB Ice Cream)
Its also the logo for Olá, ice cream company here in portugal
And also looks like ola icecream

Sigh. I cry for my dear sister.
both of these are blatant rip-offs of the Streets ice cream logo
Ha. At first glance I thought “oh look, the streets ice cream logo” then I read the words.
That’s algida logo!
Here on the east coast of the US it’s called Good Humor ice cream, and the necklace is from Zales. They have a whole series with the same heart design.
here in switzerland it’s called “lusso glace”
It`s “Algida” in Russia and Czech Republic too.

looks perfectly the same as the Gb glace europe logotype
Don’t forget the Wall’s Ice Cream logo
So, like, basically, none of you really reads any of the previous posts? Like, where they explain and even quote that it’s the same company, using same logo but different brand names in Europe and US? Or even *OMG you can do that?! gasp* link the pic with all the variations of the logo?
*sigh* Oh well. Might as well go with the flow:
First!
Has noone caught the irony here? :B
