I’d like to see more entries. These are kinda lame. Not very original or hard to make. The Wall-E one is amazing though.
These are pretty original in my opinion. Except Mad-Hatter. That one is actually a very big one. But it’s still a good costume.

I was the Dark Helmet on the other thread, I can see now that I lost by a mile! That Wall-E is amazing……also love Sack Boy and the P&PZombie girl is a dead ringer. (pun intended) Great Job all!

My husband actually went as Col Sanders, but unfortunately people thought he was a gay biker. It was hilarious. It was really fun making the costumes…obviously not professionals, but recognizable so we were happy with them..:)

It was actually made of one of those large plastic Halloween Cauldrons….I just cut out the front and added black photography sleeves around it to make the helmet flare out. To keep it on I just shoved a black body pillow up it….it was surprisingly comfortable and stayed put all night.
i think the elizabeth and the mad hatter ones are the best… VERY well done.. i dont think that wall – e one is such a big deal.. but thats my opinion

The Wall-E “costume” looks like it was just stolen from a movie theater’s wall-e 3D cardboard poster display. I’ve seen people take it. It even has the wall-E logo printed on it. All you had to do was cut a hole in it big enough to stick your body in it. I think the other contestants should’ve gotten more credit for their hard work.
I worked a month making that wall-e from items I bought at a crafting store/target but I guess I’ll take your comment that it looks like a display as a compliment.

also, my apologies for jumping on conclusions.
There are enough differences between actual WallE and the costume that make me think that this is a real homemade costume. The most obvious being the treads…and if you look closely at it, the eyes have actual lenses sticking out of them that I don’t think a cardboard display one would. it does look good enough to be a display, but I think it’s the real deal….
