  1. Diddle says:

That is a most unfortunate nose. :(

  2. operator says:

“uhhhh…Hey baby, i see you have big nostrils, huh-huh…i have big nostrils too…uhhh-huh-huh-huh…” wow…that is one damned freaky resemblance

  3. Queen of the World says:

That is so racist. On behalf of all hideously ugly white people in orthodontia worldwide, I demand a public apology.

    • Jeebus Crepes! says:

Your name is so racist, On behalf of all the true Queens of the world, I demand a public apology from the fat, junk-food devouring, Oprah watching, Springer-worthy, trailer trash lard asses like yourself.

      • mamarosa says:

On behalf of the Trailer Trash Lard Asses of America, Local 389, I demand an apology.

        • Evertide says:

On behalf of people who hold things up by demanding apologies, I demand an apology.

          • mamarosa says:

On behalf of the Apologists of America, I demand you retract your recent apology.

            • Adam says:

On behalf of myself, I reject this reality and substitute my own, where this is all the work of the former slaves not being able to fit in society after 200 years and should no longer be argued

              • Queen of the World says:

It is truly heartwarming to see so many of you step up to the plate, admit your racism, and move on. Now doesn’t that feel refreshing?

                • jes says:

                  Adam = 2xFAIL
And yet only you showed yourself to be the dumbest-ass racist by projecting your own thinking on the rest of the thread. Nice FAIL Adam. So giddy to be racist you forgot about the magic word… context.

But you do indeed substitute your own reality.
“You just take those mean ol’ chained, whipped feet offa master Adams head now hea!”

So you also can’t even substitute a better reality. 2XFAIL.

                • Alice says:

Calm down, Queen of World, all etnicities can be ugly. No one is saying she’s ugly because she’s coloured.

                • xavis says:

so much trolling from this thing

                • EmeryB says:

i kno this poor girl who is the exact opposite of this: her chin literally sticks out like an inch more than normal, and she has the smallest nose ever.

              • PAHFKNPEWPEPWPWE says:

hay jes your an idiot, adam meant to “project racism”

      • Ghost d says:

        EPIC WIN!!!!!

    • Jenna says:

Racist? were not saying shes ugly! (which she is) were just saying she looks like butthead >:D

  4. Snakecat says:

Oh, internet. You make me feel so pretty.

  5. Jeebus Crepes! says:

Oh come on now Atomic_Opera… Butthead has a chin!

  6. deadinfrance says:

Tell me that is photo shop or a wierd camera angle.

  7. JTB says:

Oh man… To quote Larry the Cable Guy… “I don’t care who ya are, That’s FUNNY!

  8. Ashley says:

    Wow, that’s horrifying.

  9. Kitty says:

Get a few beers in you. Then she’ll look like Marilyn Monroe just until you wake up with her the next morning.

  10. Wookie says:

I saw this a good while ago, no deadinfrance this is not photoshop just Mike Judge’s muse :/

  11. This poor girl needs the mercy of a nose job, chin implant, and corrective dentistry!

  12. Allenk says:

butt ugly. give me a fat chick any day.

  13. ladykitteh says:

Okay, we get the point, she’s ugly. I thought this site was for comparing celebrities, not random people who really don’t choose to be in the spotlight. This is kinda mean…

    • Khaaaaaaan says:

Seconded. I think the humor value is lost if the coincidence isn’t based on a well-known person or unlikely image. If this site is slowly turning into “There’s a guy at the local bar who looks just like Matthew Broderick; want me to snap a picture?” and “Man, this chick is ugly/fat, let’s find something hideous/bloated to compare her to!”, then this is no longer a stop for me.

    • Scythelord says:

This isn’t the celebrity site you know. Anything that looks like something else goes.

    • Muninn says:

She’s not really random… Chin chan seems to be fairly well known among other /b/tards, though not just for her chin.

    • cameron says:

i agree, but then again, she did post her picture online. and she does look a hell of alot like beavis. and the horrendus angle she chose to take the picture from was her choice. but yeah it is pretty mean.

  14. gloworm says:

Seems to be all camera angle to me. But what’s wrong with a nose with character? Sure is better than those pencil point little ski ramp things hollywood want us to believe are attractive.

  15. MEUBA says:

Bless her heart, it’s kinda pitiful.

  16. Lynine says:

She should consider dating the “Sham-Wow” guy since he looks so much like Beavis.

    Match made in heaven!

  17. Dani says:

She might be okay looking…. if she only had a chin

  18. Duir says:

damn, just look at that jew nose.

    • mamarosa says:

      GTFO!

      Effin racist….

      • Duir says:

i’m not rascist, it’s just a fact jews got big noses.

        • ladykitteh says:

No, that is an opinion, and a prejudiced sterotype one. As a Jew, I can tell you for sure that nose sizes within the Jewish community are as varied as in other communities ;) Also, not all of us are bankers of lawyers and we don’t talk like Fran Drescher on “The Nanny”. Well… except those who live in Brooklyn, maybe :P

  19. anonymous says:

This entry TotallyLooksLike.com an image that’s been floating around the internet since the Paleozoic era.

  20. Stephanie says:

    that’s really mean

  21. Stella says:

    Is that Chin Chan?

  22. Youdummy says:

You ripped me off. I made this.

  23. newf4g says:

Yes, it’s Chin Chan. she first posted nudes on 4chan (not for the faint of heart or high of morals) several months back. She first showed her ROCKIN’ body, and THEN showed her face. It was an EPIC troll, causing many young men to reconsider whether they would be interested in a casual encounter.

  24. bigboo says:

wow thats funny!! lol they really do look alike…….. thats kinds scary!!

  25. Bungholio says:

… And the Crypt Keeper from Tales from the Crypt looks like (a 500 year old) Beavis

I see a match made in heaven :)

  26. Butthead says:

Uh-huh-huh-huh-huh, Hey check it out Beavis… This chick looks like me. Uh-huh-huh-huh-huh…. I’m gonna score. Uh-huh-huh-huh-huh….

  27. Youdummy says:

Atomic_opera, you suck! Good day to you, sir. That mean f u in gentlemen talk.

  28. duke_ludo says:

am i the only one who thinks she way hot?

  29. Hank_Hill says:

    Bwaaaaah!

  30. Hank_Hill says:

“Bwaaaaaaaah! Come here Peggy, does like like like ButtHead to you”
“Oh my. Yes Hank it does”
    “Oh Good Lord! No.”

  31. Hank_Hill says:

โ€œBwaaaaaaaah! Come here Peggy, does like like like ButtHead to youโ€
โ€œOh my. Yes Hank it doesโ€
    โ€œOh Good Lord! No.โ€

  32. kthompson says:

Yes it does, but it’s not Butthead, it’s Beavis.

  33. Hank_Hill says:

    Beavis

  34. lols says:

Hasn’t this one been done before?

  35. Meany says:

Got a face that would make a train take a dirt road.

  36. Annoying buzzing sound says:

Ha ha most of you losers would have to pay to get this quality skank on you.

  37. Strategia says:

    DO NOT WANT.

  38. Vel says:

First, yes, I _do_ know that this isn’t the celebs site, and therefore, essentially anything goes. So, no, this pic doesn’t violate the theme of the site. However, with that understood, I do have a little question for you guys, and it’s not meant as a slam or insult to you — I am sincerely interested in the answer.

How many of you really and truly find it funny to make unflattering and/o potentially cruel comparisons/jokes about random strangers on the internet? Can you explain why it’s funny? In the case of celebrities, they set themselves up for it, and leave themselves open to it, and it’s an understood and accepted part of their lives. There’s also the ‘recognition factor’, which contributes to the humor — I can understand something like, “Look, it’s someone we all know, who is wealthy/popular/attractive/etc. and by god he really does look like an orangutan in that picture, ha ha!” The reversal of the celebrity stereotype of being perfect is a huge part of what makes it funny. Then there’s the times when it’s, “Even though this guy is rich and famous and has all the nookie he could ever want, he still looks like a monkey, ha!” which, while a little on the petty/jealous side, stil certainly understandable as ‘funny’.

But I have a hard time understanding why making fun of some random stranger who isn’t famous, and didn’t sign up for public humiliation by trying to become famous, is funny. Where’s the humor in it? _Why_ is it funny? Or maybe I should be asking, why does the funny override the cruel enough that people find it socially acceptable to admit to it being funny?

I’d be the first person to say that I have a hard time understanding social interaction quite a bit of the time, so it’s entirely possible that there’s a whole facet of the issue that I’m simply missing entirely that explains it all. If so, I’d greatly appreciate it if someone could explain it to me.

On the other hand, if most of us _don’t_ find it funny, then it does kind of go against the purpose of the site — we’re here to see _funny_ look-alikes, not just any look-alike, otherwise the site would be full of pictures of rocks that look like turtles and fluffy white clouds that look like bunnies.

    • LadyLuck says:

But, if she posts her picture on the internet, how is that not setting herself up for critique from others?

      • Tired Psychologist says:

Why assume she posted it on the internet herself, or even knows it was posted? If she put it up herself in a public venue, then yeah, she opens herself up to it. But seriously — do you really think the poor kid doesn’t KNOW she’s exceedingly unattractive, and would willingly invite the kind of commentary she’d be sure to receive from anyone other than, hopefully, her immediate family?

    • RobZip says:

Okay Vel, let me take your perfectly agreeable points to a somewhat different level. The woman in Connecticut who was mauled by a chimp was on the Oprah show the other day, showing everyone the horrific damage that was done to her. One eyelid, her nose, lips, and both hands were ripped off.

In addition, both of her eyes became infected and had to be removed. She is seriously disfigured, disabled and blind for life. Since she has a bit of notriety and made herself public, specifically to draw attention to her looks, is she fair game? I’ve already seen people pasting cow lips on her image and cartoon Woody Woodpecker eyes. Honestly – the eyes improved things considerably.

      • Vel says:

Good questions, and hard to answer. In my opinion, it’d depend in large part on what her motivation for going on television was. If she just wanted the attention, or something like that, then I’d say that yes, she is inviting it (though it’d still be rather crass and cruel to make fun of her). If she went on the show to draw attention to what she feels is an unknown danger, one which could be easily prevented with some attention, and has knowingly opened herself up to such derision for the purpose of helping others, then I’d say that it would be extremely low to make fun of her for it. Either way, though, she’d at the very least be aware that it could happen, and making the choice to accept that, in order to achieve her own goals, so however tasteless the jokes would be, they would be less casually cruel than those made about someone who may never have even realized her photo was taken, or that it was posted anywhere online. I guess you could say that, in my opinion, she’s fair game, indeed, but not game that an honorable hunter would pursue.

        • RobZip says:

I didn’t see the show, haven’t heard what her direct commentary was. Reports on her appearance though suggest a few things. There is a legal move underway to seal the offical photos of her injuries so that nobody outsid of the courtroom will see them. Perhaps this Oprah show was her way of bringing public just how devastating this animal attack was.

The primary interest would seem to be gathering support for a bill that just cleared the US Senate and is due for house vote soon banning interstate commerce and transportation of primates.

Second would probably be to gather support in her upcoming lawsuit against the owner of the chimp, city of Stamford, and the state of Connecticut.

I’m still split between Bart Simpson eyes or Woody Woodpecker. Your thoughts?

          • Vel says:

Then I’d say she chose to open herself up to potential derision for the sake of both financial support and support for what was important to her, making her ‘fair’ but unsporting game. Myself, I wouldn’t make fun of her, but I wouldn’t find it inappropriate for her to show up on this site, given current evidence. I wouldn’t find it funny (more compassion and horror-provoking), but I would find it only mildly offensive, provided the pics came from stills of the show or other images she released herself.

As to what modification would help her appearance, a lack of eyes is something that’s always produced a viscerally creepy reaction in me, so anything that covered that up would make the pic less horrific to me, personally. Torn, missing, or deformed noses don’t bother me nearly as much.

    • Vel says:

If having someone point out the potential cruelty of your actions removes the enjoyment of those actions, then it, essentially, makes you a better person, and thus, you should be grateful. :P That’s assuming, of course, that most people don’t actually _want_ to be cruel, and would like to know when they’re doing so inadvertently. You didn’t answer the question though — is it funny? If so, why? What’s the source of the humor? I was serious when I said I’d like to know.

      • kafleen says:

The source of the humor is that for many people other people’s misery is funny. Much humor is based on a “punch line” of someone getting hurt.

People don’t understand the psychology of humor much, so good luck getting any intelligent answers to that, Vel. I can’t even find any good laymen’s books on the subject of the psychology of humor. It is an elusive and strange thing.

And to potty mouth up there: this is a public forum, so it’s everybody’s effing business. So go stew in your bile somewhere else, jerkface.

        • Vel says:

I was aware that people find the misery of others to be funny, but despite majoring in psychology in college, I’ve never found an explanation of _why_ watching other people be hurt, humiliated, or disappointed is funny. You’re quite right that we know little of the psychology of humor, and what we do know is often highly contested by the experts in the field, so unreliable. I thought maybe if I asked people who found that sort of thing to be funny why they thought it was funny, I might get some answers that would be useful… and they don’t have to be intelligent to be useful, either, just sincere.

My personal opinion slants towards the theory that people don’t actually find it funny — that amusement isn’t their actual, gut reaction, it’s just the only one they’ll consciously admit to, because, “Oh god, I’m so glad that isn’t me/At least I’m better off than that poor person/please don’t let me be them/etc.,” are all reactions that would show the person reacting as vulnerable in some way…. whether from insecurity, fear, guilt, or even shame at not doing something to help the unfortunate butt of the joke. However, that theory is predicated on the belief that people are not actually cruel or malicious, deep down, which is what I choose to believe, but have no proof of.

An easier theory would be that people react with amusement because empathy in such cases would cause _them_ pain, and so is suppressed, sometimes brutally so, particularly (but not solely) in males who have been conditioned by our current culture to see showing empathy as showing signs of weakness and thus inviting more pain for themselves. Of course, the irony of that would be that it can in no way be said to be ‘weak’ to take the path which brings you the most pain and difficulty, and so is therefore quite self-defeating.

As to your last comment — did you mean me? I don’t think I slipped up and let any non PG-rated words in there, but I do sometimes have an exceedingly foul mouth (a bad habit, I know, but a hard one to break!), so I apologize if I did use inappropriate language in there anywhere.

Thanks for taking the time to try and answer the points. It’s unusual in these sorts of venues, and appreciated.

    • Moses says:

Without the verbosity, I agree. Pictures of strangers are of little meaning except to the poster and to those who like making fun of others at a juvenile level.

      • Vel says:

Sorry… I was raised by a vocabulary snob, have an almost phobic aversion to leaving room in what I say for misunderstanding, and now I write for a living. Combine that with typing 165wpm, so that I tend to slip into stream-of-consciousness type writing since I don’t have to wait for my fingers to catch up with my thoughts, and it makes for somewhat overly-verbose posts, indeed. I’m aware of this habit, and try to keep things concise, but it’s an even harder habit to break than swearing like a sailor.

    • cq says:

      hey vel,

i think it’s funny that a person looks like a cartoon. that’s all. no more, no less.

when i looked at this TLL, all that went through my mind was “ha. she totally looks like butthead *in that pic.*” maybe she doesn’t always look like butthead, but in that pic, she sure does.

i see others here are looking at her and saying how ugly she is, etc. but honestly, since you asked the ques, not saying i’m better or worse, just thought i’d offer you the reason that *i* found it funny. b/c a person looking like a cartoon character, esp if that character is butthead, is funny.

      :)

  39. Peter O'Toole says:

Nobody remembers Charles Degaul. A nose like that would force her into a good position for French kissing. Btw Jews have Greek noses. Mine is sort of big but also wide. Think of the money that MJ spent getting rid of that nice one.

  40. Amelia says:

The tragic part is, she totally thinks she’s hot.

  41. Liz says:

“This girl”, who must be regretting giving permission for her picture to be used for this site by now, looks like Olive Oyl from Popeye, not Butthead.

If she gave permission. The look she has is more like “Why is this odd person taking my picture?”

  42. rafael says:

why would this person have a name called this girl

  43. Meghan says:

My God! And I thought I was ugly. Jeebus.

  44. kellie says:

    poor girl

  45. tinky says:

The mean comments here are wrong. She doesn’t look like beavis or butthead. At least she’s not another phony lemming with bleached hair, implants and chiclet veneers. Variety is the spice of life.

  46. Meghan says:

It’s too bad Joseph Merrick is dead, they could start a show and take it on the road.

  47. J. says:

wow. i’m so buying her a chin implant for christmas.

    • Meghan says:

Will you also get her a nose job and fix her teeth? Cause if not the chin implant won’t do that much. She has a Klinger nose.

  48. rick says:

ugliest chick i have ever seen

  49. Amy says:

I googled “Chin Chan”. The girl in the lookalike pic is NOT the same person. The woman in the Chin Chan pix looks like maybe in their 30’s. The one above looks like a teenager.

And who told all these people that are berating her that they are so beautiful?! A*sholes!

  50. Tara says:

You can’t help but feel a little bad for her. :|

  51. Nilla says:

Unless Chin Chan got her make up done and dyed her hair, I don’t think its the same girl. Theres quite a few girls I’ve seen around my town who look like both chin chan and the girl in the picture.

  52. LaKiaMia says:

This girl looks like someone with Priomoridal Dwarfism. It’s hard to tell how tall she is just from this photo, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out that she has Primordial Dwarfism or some other genetic defect.

  53. Jim says:

It’s got to be the camera angle.

  54. Reddcat says:

dayum! that poor girl. i sure hope it’s just a bad camera angle

  55. Yo face says:

Awww girl, keep your chin up…….

    …..nevermind.

  56. KGorillaz says:

    isn’t that bevis?

  57. Ryan says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  58. Gavin says:

Hehe hey beavis I’ve got boobs

  59. muff diver says:

she gives good head…and she has some nice titties. i went to school with her

  60. muff diver says:

and its not a bad camera angle…

  61. Tw1ster says:

Ashley?!? Ashley Simpson, is that you?

  62. M. says:

    MUST be photoshopped

    at least i hope

  63. Casper says:

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA omg she looks EXACTLY like butthead hahaha

  64. t-ray says:

When did this become racial? and where the F**k is her chin?

  65. Ilikekitteh says:

    MAN, this girl is UGLY@@@!!!1!!!11!!!!!!!!

  66. kruspe67 says:

The sad part is, that in all probability, that’s her sexy myspace pose.
Even sadder, that’s not an uncommon look, I know an annoying girl who looks JUST like her even right down to the hair(given she has baggier eyes and has that dear-caught-in-the-headlights look) (my bff and I nicknamed her “Chopsticks” because she is SUPER skinny and has Barbie arms for legs)

By the way, that girl has about as much chin as she does eyebrows.
Could it be that her lack of brows might make her nose look even bigger? Optical illusion?

  67. Kyebye99 says:

Hahahaha that looks NOTHING like butthead!

  68. Kyebye99 says:

You know this isnt very funny at all, i mean shes just plain ugly!

  69. Randi says:

This reminds me of that guy on Beetlejuice who stretches his nose out

  70. dude says:

binbag over the head before sex lol

  71. pprettyugl @ youtube says:

giiiiirl, u need a nose job.

  72. Gabe says:

There isn’t anything funny in demeaning someone, it makes the person doing it look worse than the person they make a mockery of. Would anyone want to be cruely ridiculed ,no its most likely one of the worst fears the human race possesses. It’s civilized and intelligent to not be a part of this ridiculing. Isn’t life tough enough, without dragging someone down and making life even harder for them. We all have storm we’re weathering, in life ,whatever it is,its painful and would be better if we build each other up and not tear down,we’ll feel better for doing positive also and good karma will come our way rather than bad. because its a fact what goes around comes around, if you hadnt experienced that yet, wait until you live longer sometime in your life it will,or maybe it has and you didnt recognize it as connected to what you’ve done before, whether good or bad.
