I must clarify – The Immam says condom used with animals – by Moslems living in France – are not recycled. He did not address French use of condoms with animals which he says is prevalent. Immam says Moslems recycle theirs due to being premature ejculators and not getting adequate mileage to justify disposal on a single usage.

The French do have some scruples in recycling condoms it seems. According to an Immam I know who recently moved here from France, condoms used with animals are not recycled….

It’s likely more to do with economics. Original cover images cost quite a lot to purchase. Stock art is usually cheaper, one tenth the price in many cases. It’s cheaper still if you use it more than once. Expecting publishers not to be cheapskates is kinda like expecting a gangsta rap song to be about picking flowers for your mum’s birthday.

And anyone with rudimentary knowledge of french will tell you both book titles have water imagery – “La Dam du Lac”= Lady of the Lake”. “L’Immense Abandon des Plages” = Something about immense abandon on the BEACH.
