Up was such a sweet movie. It was weird, having something so good come from Disney – since Walt died they have really gone downhill. Up, however, had some serious themes while still being kid-friendly and fun.
Up was made by Pixar. Not Disney.
It was both Disney and Pixar. Disney bought Pixar in 2006; the last four Pixar movies have all been under the Disney umbrella.
