FYI, if you want to know the bird lady actor’s name, it’s Brenda Fricker and she won an oscar for ‘My left Foot’ playing the mother.
She came to prominence playing Meg, a downtrodden nurse in ‘Casualty’ here in Britain.

When I first saw Susan Boyle and the overwhelming response she got after her first performance (deserved), I thought “someone is going to make a film on her life”. My next thought was, “Brenda Fricker would be ideal for the role”. Seems good to know I’m not the only one who thought they resembled.

No way. I thought this last night while watching the movie! and I came on here to see if anyone else thought so! lol.
NO way!! I totally that the same thing when I saw it at home. For some strange reason, my mom likes her music, so when this part came up I told her that Susan Boyle IS the bird lady! Bah ha ha!
