Actually, look up the punctuation rules. You can use an apostrophe or an apostrophe S, as long as you’re consistent throughout the work.

Miley Cirus’ tour was announced in June, 2009. Presumably, all marketing materials were made before then. Michael Jackson died in July, 2009. Presumably, since the documentary was not even complete yet, the marketing materials were not created yet.

The “This Is It” concept was originally going to be his last touring concert, though. It was changed to a documentary after he died. So, the marketing was most likely done before Miley’s.

Also, his This Is It was going to be his very last tour. He was rehearsing for it and getting ready to make his comeback. That means they were making the marketing materials at the time when he was still alive.

I’m not sure if this tour poster of Miley’s is fake or not, but if it’s real then it would be HER who would be copying him.

I think after he passed away lot of people re-evaluated why they liked him int he first place, and also took the time to try and understand who he was rather than simply passing judgement as they had while he was still living. I know personally I didn’t have an opinion at all of Michael Jackson before he died, but in the months following his death I learnt so much about him that I would have never imagined that I gre to truly love and respect him. His death made the media focus on the good rather than the scandal for once.

The vast majority of musicians that I hold respect for were well above that age when they first toured, if they toured at all. The only exception I can think of off the top of my head to that was Mozart, and he was a bloody child prodigy so that’s at least understandable.

I am not sure if this poster is really made by any of her team. I have been googeling around, and i can’t find it. if it was an official poster it wouldn’t have been so hard to bump into. So my guess is that it is actually fanmade, or a design that didn’t make the final cut.

It should be Cyrus’ with no additional s at the end, not Cyrus’s.
Once again if you’ve read the posts you will find that you are incorrect. A single apostrophe at the end of a word is only when the object that is possessive is a plural, ie cats’ (as in the cats’ house – as in more than one cat owns the house), but when a name ends in an S it is BAD grammar to just use an apostrophe, grammar rules CLEARLY state that proper nouns (that are not plurals) must always be proceded with a ’s when posessive (when applicable).
So in conlusion, read the previous posts and don’t bag out bad grammar when it isn’t bad grammar. Honestly we learn this as children in Australia, what has happened to education.
